Saturday night live at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, in (reportedly, as of now) the penultimate HBO WCB ever to air. WBA light heavyweight title at stake, fourth defense of Bivol. As of the October edition (the most recent published), the Haitian-Canadian is #9 in the WBA rankings. This will be his third attempt to capture the WBA slice of the pie at 175lbs, and his third attempt specifically to wrest it from a Russian (failing in Kovalev I & II). He is giving up 2½" in height and is nine years the incumbent champ's senior.

Bivol in 5. Pascal is damaged goods. His balance is all over the place and his timing is off.

huge fan of bivol but this fight is a waste of his time... bivol in his prime right now... should be fighting badou jack, marcus brown or the nail. not a guy whos 5 years past his prime and at best a low level contender now.

I think it will be tougher than expected for Bivol but he should be able to stop Pascal late.

Bivol should blow the Haitian Sensation out within 5. If this goes the distance it can be well assured that Bivol is not what he has been advertised to be. Pascal is shot/

Pointless fight, Bivol needs to start stepping up. Mid-rounds KO for Bivol.

Don't forget the Monaco card. (with Lebedev vs. Wilson, Buglioni vs. Meng, and Hunter vs. Ustinov...)

I’m a bit excited for the undercard of Bivol-Pascal and the Monaco card, but that’s probably because their main competition for my attention that day is Chuck vs. Tito III which I expect to be terrible

I have close to zero interest in even watching this match, that's how noncompetitive this is. Bivol should be able to dominate him from start to late stoppage. Pascal is beyond shot, this match should have never been made.

The last two aren't bad matches, Hunter should beat Ustinov fairly handily, but you never know, would Bakole have struggled with a guy like Ustinov? Possibly. As much of a beast as Bakole looked to be, Charr and Ustinov are still far more proven at the top level, this match will be a good measuring stick for Mike.

The Buglioni-Meng match is also fascinating, Meng is not that great, and might be packing glass, he'd probably be knocked spark the **** out in a round by Callum Johnson, so don't hold that one against Frank. If this is anything like Frank's performances in the lead up to the Johnson match, it should be a competitive genuinely interesting and fun match to watch.

    Ustinov and Meng are garbage.

If they lose (or struggle, or pitch non-shutouts) it just proves Hunter and Buglioni are light years from world class.

I'm actually looking more forward to Ortiz/Liddell III than any of these fights. It's a sad match but it has that can't look away train-wreck appeal. It would be absolutely hilarious of Liddell's power carried him through here and he improved to 3-0 against Ortiz despite being 48 and inactive for almost a decade with a string of KO defeats before essentially being forced into that retirement.

Should be a fairly easy fight for Bivol. Mid round stoppage.
