Great performance and great fight too if you haven't seen it. I wouldn't just judge him on the Perez fight when he's looked impressive in his last 2 fights winning his title and defending it both on his opponents home turf and beating 2 good undefeated fighters in Flanagan and Saucedo.

Algieri is due to fight at the end of the month but he hasn't fought in ages and even at his best although he won a belt was just outside the world-class fighters. Other than the controversial Prod win he lost every time he stepped up. I'm not sure how I view Hooker yet need to see more of him. Coyle gets ruined v anyone at world level and u would expect Linares to have too much for a hooker. Really dangerous for Coyle to take a fight like this at this stage in his career imo, see him getting stopped and hurt pretty badly by Hooker. Sent across the globe on a complete mismatch with no regard for the fighters safety, sounds like Hearn.

If Ritson vacates I'd like to see Coyle go for the lonsdale again. That belt would mean everything to him and he could still get a decent pay day against the right opponent. Good powers of recovery, a big heart, limited skills and world class opponent are not a good mix.
