Browne seemed relatively gassed after the 4th due to a 5"9 guy leaning on him. At this stage I think Fast Eddie wouldn't bother with him. He's hardly a scalp anymore; but still has a big dirty right hand so dangerous enough to mess up the risk reward ratio. He vs Leapai might sell some tickets in Aussie then a scrap vs Parker in a yr or two to close out the career
No way. Browne is very popular in the UK, and thats where the big money and big fights are. Hearn will sign him once his Hatton contract runs out in January. Matchroom needs more popular working class losing opponents in the UK, ala Price/Allen and Browne fits the bill perfectly. Good opportunity for Big Daddy to make some real good money too fighting the likes of Chisora, Price, Miller, Allen, Povetkin etc.. before he retires. Hell make x20 the amount in the UK than he can in Australia.
So he is fighting in a netball centre in Auckland against a fat scrub with 22 losses? Lucas maybe completely done at the top level, and have horrible punch resistance, caused by some irreversible damage, but he can continue and make some money. If I was advising him I would get him to retire, because he shows all the signs of someone who could face medical issues. Alot of fans were very impressed by Whyte's KO against him, despite the circumstances surrounding the build up to that fight.
He'll get one payday off any of these agreed, but it would be terrible to watch Browne get annihilated, and I don't think he'd get a second payday..I don't think Hearn would sign him mate. What I watched of him last night he don't belong in the ring at that level anymore
