Are you a parent by any chance? I am, Wlad's a great role model to introduce boxing to the kids..................it's all about the kids I tell ya'!
For the poster who said Wlad would lose to some football player in a street fight, give me a break, Wlad wouldnt even have to land flush to put Bush out for the season, taking a punch is like no other feeling in the world, just because you can take a tackle, doesnt mean you can take a right hand from one of the most powerful punchers in the world.
Goo Ooooo Ooooo Oooooo Ooooo Ooo Wlaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's a silly statement. Of course, I don't believe that pro boxers would just kick everyone's ass... people get a little blinded by watching boxing, and start believing that is how a regular fight goes down. However, to just assume that a random pro football player would automatically kick Wlad's ass in a fight is a bit absurd. Now, if this person was a proven bad ass, as far as fighting goes... then maybe you would have a point. Just because he plays physical on the football field don't mean a damn thing. I know several pro football players, and none of them are good fighters. They spend all of their time training football... or relaxing/partying on their downtime. They sure as hell aren't sharpening their fighting skills in any way. Just ask Javon Walker. Where you lose this argument is the fact that Wlad is not only a great boxer (#1 heavyweight in the world)... but he is fast, big, powerful, physically very strong, great agility, has kickboxing experience, and is a GREAT athlete. This might make more sense if Wlad was just some slugger who couldn't move for ****... or some really good technical boxer with no power. Wlad has it all in the boxing department, has the size, foot movement, and athletic ability to create, and keep space, and has the speed and power to end the fight with one, not even fully flush shot..... and can kick to boot. We aren't talking about him fighting against a top Wrestler/grappler here... we are talkinga bout a random football player.
265lb, 6'5", all pro tight end Shockey is a random football player?? I can't get back into this nonsense. Go to the Gaints training camp in Albany, NY next month. Stand 10 feet from Shockey as he throws 300 offensive lineman around like rag dolls, and tell me he would just get easily KO'ed by Wlad. Or better yet come down here to New Orleans. I will take you myself over to watch the Saints train. Once you see Reggie Bush in action up close, not 200 feet away on TV. There is no way you will think that a 5'8" 150lb PBF will destory him in a no holds barred fight. It defies common sense? Plus the thought that any huge, super strong man. Who spends his time learning how to move other huge strong men physically around, would not be good in a street fight is silly. I have boxed and played football. I never met a good, strong football player that was a weak street fighter, never. I'm not talking about the fat kid who plays offensive line for Pop Warner. I'm talking about men here, get a grip.
Wladimir has got a huge heart, a real sportsman and a rolemodel. But with all due respect, his last fight was laughable at best :smoke
Its hard to argue with reality brother, as much as I love boxing and boxers. This always seems to come up over and over.
