Make no mistake, this fight was designed to be lost on the scales with an effort by Mundine to make the weight. Unbelieveably the $$$ penalties Mundine faces if he comes in over weight should be made illegal! Absolutely immoral.

Mundine is going to be weakened by the weight loss. It will steal his early power (his only chance of winning) and fatigue him in the middle to later rounds. The whole thing is designed to give Horn a victory. IMO, it will be a VERY EMPTY VICTORY CONTRIVED BY COWARDLY HANDLERS. Horn himself is blameless. He has to trust his seconds. But Choc has been outsmarted and shame on his seconds for allowing him to be outmaneuvered into a cant win situation.

I pray for a miracle, not because I dislike Horn, but I hate seeing boxers get screwed by 'suits' who would never on their best day, be game to enter a boxing ring.

Hard to like Mundine. He's a ****. That I wanted him to beat Green shows how much I didn't like Danny rather than like Mundine.

And he wants the Horn payday so agreed to get shafted and so I have no sympathy whatsoever. If you can't make weight then don't agree to fight. I think harsh penalties for not making weight should be the norm. I hate it when people cheat on the scales.

Mundines team is employed to look after his 'best' interests. A team is employed by a boxer to prtect him from himself, and do those things that the boxer isn't best at (negotiation etc). It isn't Mundines fault regardless of how bad he wants a fight or payday. A GOOD team would have made the fight without the harsh penalties.

Not everything is Mundines fault. Much has to do with those that surround him. Has been a low IQ team since Nasser left. (if he is back there id be shocked he let this happen)

Look. At the end of the day we're all humans who share this planet. Rooting for Mundine is rooting for civil war and potentially WW3. His provoking of the Emu's is the last straw and I'll say with the utmost confidence that only the most misanthropic nihilist with zero care for their fellow humans can back Mundine in this fight. My grandfather told me tales of the great emu war and all of it's bloody atrocities, I don't want to see humanity go down that path again.

I imagine Mundine will struggle with the weight loss. May even dehydrate to some extent. The financial penalties put in place by the Horn camp are so extreme Mundine may be forced to dehydrate to a dangerous extent. The Horn camp has no consideration at all for Mundines health. If Choc gets sick from this fight, it is on their heads.

The ABA should never again allow a contract that so asks a boxer to lose weight, with unrealistic financial incentives that serve to motivate the boxer to take extreme risks with their health to make the weight.

But Horn seems like a nice bloke and Mundine is a loud mouth so its ok.

As per the ANBF charter the guy with the most backslapping bogan fans can do what he pleases.
That's why a world rated middleweight can fight a teenage Filipino snooker hall cleaner who weighs 135 fully clothed on his 9th KO loss in a row and the governing body doesn't blink an eyelid.

Horn weighed 155.54lbs, Mundine 154.87lbs. Catchweight limit was 156.5, so both made it comfortably. Surprised that Horn came in heavier, though.
