Gerald Washington wasn't even stopped clean on his ass or something. He more or less quit at some point and was happy that the ref saw it in his eyes.

Stop watching footage then. It's clouding your judgement.

There seems to be a lot of people on here who think Wilder can't box. He's also quite unorthodox in his own way. And they don't give away Olympic Bronze for free. I'm not saying he's a great boxer but I do think that because his ko record is so strong his boxing gets overlooked .

Scott definitely took a dive. Why would he even be in Wilder's camp as a sparring mate if he legitimately got KO'd in a round? Only way it makes sense is if it was an off night for Scott, where in previous sparring sessions he'd otherwise give Wilder some trouble with his movement and elusiveness. Still, I'd think you destroy a guy that easily you'd take better training options, friends or not. No time should be wasted in training.

Washington was getting lit up and about 15 seconds away from taking a nap on the canvas.

This is a hard fight to predict. I want Fury..i don't know if Wilder can connect with the right that is the key to the fight. Simply put.

If this was Fury that fought Wlad or even the Fury who beat Chisora the 2nd time I'd confidently pick Fury to beat Wilder on points but I just can't see how Fury can take so much time out, balloon up so much in weight, abuse his body with drugs, not to mention the depression and come back and be competitive at this level.

My brain tells me Fury can win, he has the style to win, the skills to win, the drive to win, but what he's gone through these last few years just seems to much to overcome. It's why Wilder took this fight, he sees Fury as the weak or sick member of the herd and is thinning the herd.

I would say before this fight that it has a Lacy-Calzaghe feel to it. But then again Calzaghe was a prime athlete while Fury looked like **** at the weigh-in.

That Malik Scott fight has always had the stench of a fix. It was a disgrace, a 95 year old wouldn’t be knocked down by that punch

Anything is possible. Remember Jeff Lacey was supposed to Derail Joe Calzaghes career.

Wilder has the equaliser, and Fury is far from his best.

I would say Wilder does set traps but it takes him half the fight to figure one out if the opponent is moving ( Szpilka ) He has a very good ring IQ too that's his second best quality bc without it he wouldn't be known its what saves him besides power .

But it don't do him much good here bc fury is smarter and sets traps on the fly.

The only way I see Fury losing is by getting over confident ( I cant see him doing that ) or making a legit mistake allowing wilder to unload more then three shots at a time on him later in the fight. I give fury a good 70% chance to win bc in his mind he will also not want to lose to a 212 pound fighter at this stage. Based on style its still a punchers chance for wilder but fury SHOULD win easy or make it look easy .
