If the fight does 250,000 US buys. Both fighters earn over 8 figures. Then there's the UK ppv money. Both will get nice paydays.

Seems like that 50 million was a load of tosh:qmiedo:, For apparently the biggest boxing fight in history the cash is poor for both Wilder and Fury. These kind of numbers have got to make you laugh when both fighters think that they should get 50% for the Joshua fight.

I know, I know Sammy, but when your in the gym & helping the young ones get through the training & they've hit that wall & can't progress. Do you (not you) think me sayin c'mon boyzz you'll get more money than him if ysz do this....do they think money can get you over that hill ?...thats why I know posters like Unitas & MVC ain't never had to taste their own blood & breath red hot fire when someone slipped them a nice uppercut to that floating rib....£££$$$ dollars ain't gonna make em get on & past it ...you know that ...they dont!

I may be wrong or just reading rumours on here but was wilder offered more to face Joshua and was he not happy with what was offered if it was more to face Joshua?

That was a much bigger fight than Wilder-Fury. The T-Mobile arena badly wanted to see Joshua-Wilder as their first Heavyweight title match for their arena after the Joshua-Wlad rematch fell through and wealthy investors were willing to put up the money for it, which is why Haymon was able to secure the $50 million as easily as he did for Joshua.

The T-Mobile Arena and the MGM Grand had no interest in Wilder-Fury, since they didn’t think it would sell tickets due to Fury’s inactivity, which is turning out to be true in Los Angeles, since a ton of tickets are still available.
