I can see Brook beating a Khan, Garcia and Porter but would he beat Spence at 147lbs? I cant see it. Crawford? I cant see it.

Final run at 147 but he comes up short against the very best.

    Annihilated? Thats pure hyperbole.

Brook doesnt get annihilated vs anyone at 147. His competitive vs everyone in the division and the only guys I would say who beat him are Spence and Crawford.

Thurman I am still not sold on and his lack of fighting is a worry for me. Danny Garcia, cmon man. Good fighter but seriously you think he would annihilate Brook?

Money is more of the reason. 147 is more of a money division but I dont think the champions are in any rush to fight Brook.

Put a fork in him he is done. The notion that he would beat Crawford is utterly obsurd. Brook has had his time. Crawford would play with him.

I don't believe he beats many, if any, of the champions at 147. If it was prime Thurman, don't see it. The Thurman that may return to the ring is a different story but who knows what he'll be like.
Crawford could most certainly stand up to Brook's skills and would beat him.

People say he's had a terribly managed career like its Eddie Hearn programming a machine. He has a mind of his own and has made some decisions himself that make him accountable for his own career. Everyone, including Hearn, did not want him at 147 against Spence but he took the fight anyway.

I'm a fan of Brook's but sometimes he's flattered to deceive. Aside from Porter, I've not seen moments that make me think unreservedly, what a waste.

It's not so much switching off imo tho tjhat does play a part in it. For me khan has fast feet and fast hands, but not smart feet and smart hands, what I mean by this is that they work well for him up until he starts to tire at which point he becomes far easier to time and hit if you know what I mean? He lacks the nous and inttikegence to make minor adjustments when his feet ain't fresh enough to just get him out of range

So had I but he looked good on video the other day. He’s only 32 and he didn’t do too bad against Spence and that was coming off a ridiculous weight cut. I think Brook is being very harshly criticised here and I think there’s still fight in him. He KOs Khan, beats Porter, maybe Thurman, I think the Spence outcome would be the same and maybe Crawford too strong for him too.

It's crazy to think his done. His far from finished although I have doubts he can ever fight at 147lbs and be the best Kell Brook possible.

I dont see how you go from a fighter who has to break his neck to make 147 and by his own accounts isn't his strongest at that weight to now being ready to campaign at that weight.

if his forcing himself to fight at 147 I dont think this story ends well.

I feel like plenty of fighters struggle to take weight off and Kell was just using that as an excuse for his loss to Spence.

Kell didn't put on a truck load of muscle to fight GGG, he just didn't cut as much weight.
Look at him in any of his 147lbs fights and he is absolutely shredded at the weigh in, vs GGG he was just in good shape, almost looked soft in comparison.

Kell lost to Spence because his face got broken, he probably would have won otherwise. I still think Spence would have learnt a lot from that fight and would heavily favour him in a rematch.

I don't see any other 147lber beating Kell decisively tbh. I think Kell cleans up Garcia and Khan, stylistically they are made for Kell. Thurman, Porter and Crawford are all 50/50s

147 is filled with small guys that have moved through the weights. Kell and Spence have the size advantage for sure.

@154 you have guys that cut more than Kell does to make 147. Hurd and Munguia are freakish weight cutters.
Charlo is probably a little bigger build than Spence and 2 inches taller.

154 would not end well for Kell, 147 is easier and potentially more money

I see Kell beating Garcia, similar fighters good punchers without always having the KO rate that might suggest it. Both rely on timing rather than speed but Kell would be the bigger guy in the ring so I can see that being decision win.

Thurman i've never been huge on as an elite fighter. Once he stepped up the KO's dried up. Probably more mobile than Kell but its 50 50 for me even now.

Unless weigh drained he beats Khan now. Timing beats speed and Khan was awful against Vargas

Porter see fight 1 - simelar story if he boxes well he wins again
Spence - probably can't last the pace so I see Spence winning again
Crawford - Kell probably gives him a hard night but Bud is so damm fluid he might be too much

The weight is key i think. If its a struggle he wont get past Khan

After the Porter win I feel Kell Brook could of become an Elite fighter if he had had the right opponents. Carry the momentum of that win and get in the ring with someone on par with Porter
