Point still stands. You're only as good as your last few fights and Fury did not look good in his two comeback fights. I'll say this much. While I won't give Wilder full credit for the win(I.e he beat a 2015 Fury) if Fury looks good and Wilder rallies to stop him it'll be about on par with the Ortiz win. Which stands as Wilders only true top 10 win.

 

No i dont just bought a car last week. But tempted to throw $250 on fury and see how that works out.
I think fury is fine those tune up fights were just that tune up fights. He will be ready for the big time tonight. If he doesn't get stopped early he will give wilder a boxing lesson. I like both guys im not hating on wilder but fury can box and it is what it is. His boxing ability is much better than wilder and i feel wilder will lose too many rounds trying to load up for that perfect shot that may or may not come. May the best man win.

50/50 on this fight, but Wilder carries his power late and is probably good enough to catch Fury by surprise at least once or twice. That's pretty much all the opportunity DW needs, especially against what I think might be a faded version of Fury.

Wilder by late KO, but I don't think a Fury victory would shock me all that much, either.

And yeah...Credit to both guys for taking the fight, and to the victor.

 

Honestly there's a lot of excuses to make for this fight, it could be a success but it could also be a flop - on both sides.

Fury : if Deontay Wilder is the "bum" and "dosser" that Fury claims he is, and that Wilder gets completely outskilled and dominated to the point that he actually looks like a bum, then where is the achievement in beating...a bum?

Wilder : if the likes of Eddie Hearn and Joshua are right when they say that it's too early for Fury, then how is it valuable to beat a man who's basically considered to be a shell of his former self?

no excuses : the fight will have to last some rounds, and both fighters will have not only to prove that they can compete against each others, but also prove that their overall level is both good.

We'll see, but I do hope for a good fight and I think it should be one.

 

Let's keep our fingers crossed there is no controversy of any kind and there is a clear winner. Either guy fighting Joshua next year would awesome.

Though I've already have a excuse for Fury, he is fat, and for Wilder he is too skinny.

We might actually get a very dull fight. Neither guy wanting to engage much, which will of course favor Fury who I think is more accurate with his punches.

They both gonna be timid I'm sure. Never being for either one of them ever is kind of a strange thing but defo gonna watch and hope that its good and decisive. I'm pulling for Wild man Wilder ha. Let's get it, war time is near.

 

I just hope i9ts a good fight with no controversy & he better man getting the win. I wont be watching I refuse to contribute a penny to a corrupt sport I'll watch Grozdyck kick Stevensons ass
