You're all acting like casuals. Draw is correct.

    If that were true then you would have him winning by 4 wouldn’t it....so either you are wrong? Or just really bad at math?

    Do you work for Showtime? Do you enjoy paying for fights that are pre determined to fleece more money out of people?

    Look - I never get involved in “fighter a sucks” or “fighter b destroys fighter c” etc stuff - but this should be a unifying subject to us fans. We are being played for fools and scammed out of our money. We may as well be watching Harlem globetrotters on PPV for $75 a pop for all the legitimacy these results have. Yeah, I paid full price - I’m a boxing fan and support the sport. Even when I don’t “have a dog in the fight”.

    I think Fury took it, I think to score a draw, you have to be looking for it, but I'm neither mad nor didn't I expect it. Seen it far too many times. Promoters want to milk this ****, the draw is pretty much a guaranteed rematch which is great economically and it's a relatively inoffensive result. So everyone wins.

    I gave Wilder a few rounds besides the KD rounds. I'm saying those rounds could have gone to Fury as well.

    Calling people casuals when your maths is wrong is quite funny.

    4 rounds won = 40
    8 rounds lost = 72
    Total = 112

    8 rounds won = 80
    2 rounds lost = 18
    2 rounds lost with KDs = 16
    Total = 114

    This is exactly right. No one is arguing it was an even fight, merely stating 2 knock downs make up for 4 rounds. Everyone is all of a sudden forgetting how boxing is scored.

    The correct reaction should be 'the result sucks because fury dominated but he got dropped twice.. a draw, by boxing standards, is the correct result. Furys fault for not protecting himself in the 12th'

    Uh, what exactly were you scoring for Wilder? You have to land punches in boxing.

    Anything from draw to Fury by 2 points is fair. The farther you deviate from those scores the more dubious your card becomes IMO. 115-11 for Wilder is corruption.

    That said, fans get so caught up in aesthetics and it's an emotional title fight. Fury looked prettier and slicker and blah, blah blah. But it's still a fight and it's not like he was sending Wilder flying over the ring.

    Fury was put on his ass twice. That's a 4 point deficit. It is what it is. A dude who was floored twice and ended up on his back, barely beating the count did not school his opponent.

    The main objective in a fight is to KO the opponent, the 2nd biggest measure of success is to knock him down. And that's reflected with 10-8 rounds awarded for knockdowns.

    Your maths is off. If he is 4 rounds up with 10 rounds left, then wins 2 more rounds, that puts him 6 rounds up, with 8 rounds left, and if he loses those next 8, he loses by 2 points.

    Wilder needs 3 rounds, as well as the two 10-8 rounds to draw the fight.

    Emigrated to the USA over 10 years ago. Prefer Wilders personality, hated Fury’s comments after defeating Klitschko but appreciated his comeback story. I was indifferent to who won.

    10 rounds to 2. I could also see round 2 going to wilder, so maybe 9 rounds to 3. That’s it. I’m not gonna get in a pissing contest but I’ve been watching boxing since Tyson Bruno 1, and have been boxing amateur for years. That’s why I respect all boxers and never diss them.

    Just calling it as I see it - and this was a very easy fight to score. A clinic aside from the 2 rounds Fury was knocked down in (which he still finished strong in both).

    I know you like trolling people and talking smack about boxers you don’t like and stuff - but once you have competed you find a real neutrality and clarity. I would never talk smack about any fighter.

    FYI - it’s G-Boxing. Not GB. I’m a US citizen and dual national.

    What did the commentary you heard say? I was in a casino so I couldn’t hear it, and I had Fury winning every round minus the knockdowns. And I had no horse in the race, leaning towards hoping for Wilder to win. I thought a Fury win would be a good story, but I thought a Wilder win would be better for boxing and the heavyweight division.
