That equalize themselfes in fights Fury is a big lump of a bloke, but has light feet fast hands and can really box , he was brilliant last night in that respect considering the lay off. but inside he is average, can get sloppy when his hands drop, and his chin is liable to go late in fights as he tires. I am surprised with his size he doesnt hurt fighters more, maybe he doesnt sit down on his punches enougth. Wilder has incredible power, that right hand is not quite foreman esque in destruction but its up there in boxing history, but he has so many technical faults including swinging wildy at times, that you can completly outbox him with both ortiz and fury making him look silly at times, his power has been his savior late in those fights and he has a good champions spirit. Its not like he cant box he got a olympic bronze, but he loads up in punches way to much. Joshua is a huge puncher who started very late, he has massibly improved from when I first saw him at the olympics where the superb savon should of been olympic champion that year got robbed blind. He can look very stiff and can and has been hurt by klitchko whyte and even povetkin ,but again like wilder that power is a huge equaliser, plus he has unlike wilder got a decent jab and he has showed major improvent in his feints and boxing iq under robert mckracken. there is no lennox lewis or holmes boxing style quality in this era quality wise But its still interesting none the less.
yeh i guess, though the other side of it is that what was interesting about fringe contenders in other eras is that all had flaws.
