There is disproportionate hate for both Wilder and AJ on this forum, it's the nature of this highly competitive game, no amount of pleading or logic or rationalization will change it. Basically develop a thick skin and realize the truth.. the haters of Wilder and AJ are in reality lovers of the sport. If Wilder announced his retirement tomorrow, never to appear in a boxing match again, how many people would truly be happy about that? The people that say after the Fury fight that Wilder is useless, terrible etc have themselves never set foot inside a ring, they are totally clueless despite what they might think they are. Wilder fought well last night, he has a great deal of skill, just he was outclassed in terms of boxing ability. Fury MADE him look bad. In my book, Wilder fought better than the 10 year dominant Wlad against Fury. The people that say AJ is a manufactured robot are the same.. he is an Olympic gold medalist and look what he has achieved in the relatively short career he has had to this point. He is very talented with an excellent skillset, good offence and defence. He can box, move and punch.
As much as I'm not a fan, it is a bit ridiculous people calling a guy who has an Olympic medal and has knocked out pretty much everyone he's fought as a pro, a fraud. Some on here seem unable to articulate anything other than a fighter being ATG or a total bum. Wilder has lots of limitations, but he also has ATG level power. That alone makes him an interesting proposition in any fight.
Wilder is lucky Fury didn't shatter his fragile chin, although he had him rocked a few times. But it's without Quonset that he comprehensively outboxed Wilder and exposed him as the limited fraud he is.
Wilder won five rounds with two knockdowns, Fury won seven rounds with no knockdowns. That's a draw when you add up the points. Fury won the boxing part and Wilder won the fighting part. I think that a rematch is warranted but it seems Fury has no real interest in that. I can understand it because he knows that he can't repeat his performance. Wilder can adjust for Fury's style but Fury can's adjust for Wilders power. It will always be there and all Wilder has to do is deliver it more accurately.
Hats off to fury for his performance, excellent performance and I favour him in the rematch, however I had Wilder winnning this fight coz of the knockdowns
oh after this we hate america and shall boycott all goods and services as far as I am concerned america is now my enemy disgusting vile evil corruption to rob fury of an amazing moment in history evil ****s
the fight wasnt competitive fury even made both so called 108 rounds 10-9 rounds he got up both times and had wilder shook and running absolute digraceful anti white racist robbery
hate? he got clowned for 8-10 rounds of the fight... fury is the real wbc champ everyone knows it.. wilder is now canelo both fraud/not legit world champions
Wilder brings the hate on himself by acting like a complete tool most of the time. Credit to Wilder - he didn't give up and kept on throwing windmills until he finally caught Fury. But he was schooled through most of the fight. I had Fury winner by 115 - 111.
