This fight was very easy to score. Anyone who didn’t have Fury up by at least 5 rounds after 6 doesn’t know what they’re watching.
    I thought 7th was close but let’s say Wilder, 8th Fury, 9th 10-8 Wilder, 10th and 11th both Fury and 12th 10-8 Wilder.

So I had it 114-112 Fury and that’s giving Wilder 2 rounds I considered close enough to be pretty much even, so could pretty easily have been 115-111 Fury.
I see no possible way to give anything more to Wilder and the judge who had him winning widely should never ever officiate again. He’s either incompetent or more likely a dirty cheating basturd!

    Simple really.

One man KNEW he had won and the other Knew he hadn't.

You've literally explored every possible outcome in two average sized paragraphs. That's what proves this fight a very easy one to score, even being generous to Wilder as you were, and Tyson still wins. That's why this is a robbery. Not because Tyson was so far ahead, but because it is impossible to score any more rounds for Wilder, other than the ones you've mentioned.

Not really, I think he won the fight. But those two knock downs really go against him. Even with one knockdown I was worried about the draw.

What I'd like to know is how do judges score a fight?

Do they all sit on the same side of the ring? Do they have to watch it live or do they have a monitor?

I can see how you can get weird score cards if one judge just happens to be behind the action, big swings from Wilder that look like they connect. We can see on TV that they are missing wildly but can the judge see that?

I thought he won but it was not the robbery people are making it out to be -- he was not totally dominating rounds; was knocked down TWICE (there goes 4 points); and was the challanger against an American in America.

Some achievement from Fury and he shocked me with his conditioning and sharpness. Unreal after all he has been through.

AJ has to face Wilder or Fury now!!!

Certainly a contentious decision but not as controversial as most are saying

I thought so little happened in the earlier rounds that Wilder could have won one of them. Wilder wasn't losing rounds by miles and I had Fury 3-1 up after four. Gave Wilder the seventh and then he has two 10-8 rounds.

Were rounds 1,3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 11 so clear that Fury won them all on a total shutout? Not for me. Therefore a draw was fair.

Of course it was Tony. You hating Fury has nothing to do with that.

Funny how those who have it a draw or win for Wilder are renowned Fury haters. Forget the 90%+ who scored it for Fury. The haters got it right.

I think a lot of people said it was fairly close. Tyson did well but two knockdowns and not many shots landed makes things difficult.

I'm not a hater, but you seem to really love Fury and I think have overrated him a bit.

    Had it 114-112 for Fury.

Two knockdown rounds and 2 of the first 4 for Wilder for me.

I thought 3 of the opening 4 rounds were very close and could have gone either way.

Look around, a tiny % said the fight was close. Fewer again said it was a draw and barely a handful produced scorecards citing a draw. The fact is, it's impossible to score this fight a draw without a premeditated agenda. Impossible!

I rate Fury for what he is; the best heavyweight on the planet who can be knocked out by the other top two, albeit unlikely. That's what makes this era potentially great as all three could beat each other if they fought multiple times.

Quite a lot actually have said it's not the robbery people are making it out to be.

For example, in round five Tyson landed seven punches and Wilder landed six. In round seven Tyson landed five punches and Wilder landed seven. In round eight Tyson landed eight punches and Wilder landed seven and in round eleven Tyson landed four punches and Wilder landed three.

If you can't see how close rounds like those can result in a close card, not mentioning the two 10-8 rounds, then I think you're the one being biased.

See the only problem with your argument here is that Wilder landed even less than Fury. Wilder outlanded Fury in only 3 rounds (2 of these were the rounds he dropped Fury)

Fury outlanded Wilder in 9 of the 12 rounds and also was more accurate with his punches in every round other than the last.

Its not just about the number of punches landed but also how accurate your punches, Fury landed more (somtimes there was only a couple of punches difference, but Fury threw less and still landed more) so not only landed more but was more effective with his punches which is a scoring criteria
