Wilder hits pretty fracking hard. It's like his party trick. But hardest EVER? Mhhh. That's hard to quantify, or prove. He might be argued to be ONE of the hardest ever punchers.
Of course it can't be proven. It is my opinion afterall but to the eye test no HW cracks as hard IMO.
Yes, but. But a lot of his opposition is crap. But his punches often don't land flush because of his technique. But Duhaupas ate everything he got hit with and probably would have seen the end if the ref didnt stop it. But guys like Wlad or Lewis might well hit harder, except for that they don't as a matter of course, because it's bad technique to let it all hang out. I will however agree that he's probably right up there at the top of the hardest hitters; its about the only thing that he indisputably, really, does well.
Speaking of Duhaupas, Povetkin KO'd him cold with one punch whereas Wilder couldn't deck him despite literally not being able to miss him for 11 rds.
If his opposition was at a higher level he could be mentioned, but as of now for me, he hasn't knocked out one elite heavyweight, Ortiz has seen better days imo
Who has he fought other than Fury? Also nobody ever said Fury has a granite chin and Wilder landed a devastating right in the 12th and a left on the way down for good measure. Yet Fury popped up with no sign of being shook or cobwebs and went on to dominate the remainder of the round. Let’s wait until he knocks someone with a reputable chin out before claiming he’s the hardest puncher ever
This content is protected Bro... Argue your point, why do you need to write such silly things? As to the orginal post, Wilder comits to his punches so much that he almost falls forward and because his lack of high-level opposition and also physsical abilities he was not yet punished. However his power is definitely extraordinary and as I mentioned the physsycality. As someone has previously noticed, with proper training since childhood he would've been hw Hearns.
I'll say this for Wilder,,,,he would be the greatest heavyweight in history if he'd have bothered to learn how to box. His swings reminded me of the novice gold glove division fights I've seen.
