Could Joshua have gotten up from the punch that flooored Fury in the 12th?

Fury needed the hand of God to breathe life back into his body so he could barely beat the ten count. AJ probably gets stretchered out like Duhaupas.

He may get up but Wilder won’t be scared to pull the trigger and finish it unlike old Wlad.

Fury recuperates much quicker from KDs than AJ. That’s some gypsy juju.

 

Stiverne was ranked in the top 10 in the first match while in the re-match he wasn't a ranked fighter and only got the fight by default because Povetkin screwed up. Also, Stiverne was so far gone that even James Prince, who was Stiverne's manager at the time was begging Stiverne not to take the fight, since Stiverne was completely out of shape and had been out the ring for almost two years. Wilder himself even admitted before the fight that Stiverne was in no shape to be fighting anybody, but because Stiverne was the mandatory Wilder had to fight him and out of mercy got Stiverne out of there quick.

 

I think Joshua would have been out cold.

 

The thing is AJ hits better than Wilder. I don't think Wilder would get a chance AJ would blitz through Wilder with combo punches , AJ can hit harder with both hands they are not cuffing shots they are dead blunt trauma shots sustained in combos. AJ sustains his punches with more regularity and proficiency . The question is can Wilder get through AJ poise and technicality? I don't think Wilder can. I think AJ would walk him down and overwhelm Wilder.

Also Wilder does not have a tank on him he tires too quickly and he fights in bursts that take to long to set up. Top tier boxing is a different game and Wilder is lacking.

I personally don’t know if he could get up, and if he did I think he’d have been stopped immediately cos he doesn’t have the footwork and defence fury had to stop Wilders attack after the KD

 

It's depends on the referee, they all conduct kd counts differently

I think yes. The only reason AJ went down against Klitschko was, that he lost balance and saw Klitschko wanted to finish him. Due to his high boxing IQ, he decided to rather go down.

Wilders power is so overrated it's getting laughable. Yes he punches hard for a man his size, no doubts, but let's keep some perspective here.

Just like AJ isn't knocking people unconscious.. neither is Wilder. But to be fair little Spzilka looked lights out.

Who else in recent times has Wilder knocked spark out? I mean genuinely lights out? Who has been stopped on their feet?

But I believe Wilder carries his power late in fights, his output drops but his right hand don't lose much power so it gives the impression he is a far bigger puncher than he is.

The question can also be asked the other way, would Wilder survive the punches AJ landed on Wladimir late, or Povetkin, or others.

They are Heavyweights, they punch hard but let's not pretend whoever Wilder touches goes to sleep.

Joshua doesn't have Fury's belief system to help in that situation.

Joshua belief system lies in Nike trainers, Lucazade and drill music which certainly wouldn't have done much in helping him come back to life like that.
