What was the best fight out both of these epic battles?

for me AJ fight just beats the Fury fight, however what a division the heavyweight division has been the last couple of years.

    AJ V Wlad
    Fury v Wilder
    Whyte v Chisora
    AJ V Povektin
    Whyte v Parker
    Chisora v Takam
    Wilder v Ortiz

AJ vs Wlad easilly the better fight. Wilder vs Fury only became entertaining from the 9th and was a pretty dull fight up untill then.Whyte vs Chisora, Chisora vs Takam and Whyte vs Parker were better fights than Fury vs Wilder.

Wlad/AJ was more exciting and competitive with more momentum shifts, knockdowns and action. Other than the two knockdowns in Wilder/Fury, it would have been a one-sided clinic. Still a great fight though. The heavyweight division is on fire.

Wilder v Fury and AJ v Wilder are ahead of the rest because of the quality on show and what was at stake, these fights involved the four best heavies oveer the past 5 years (Wlad retired after AJ but at that time was the best heavy because Fury went AWOL) There was a lot more action in the AJ v Wlad clash but Fury showed more quality than both AJ and Wlad so I would put it at the top but AJ`s coming out fight had more exciting moments aside from the last round of the Fury fight, and after the way Fury outboxed Wilder it has taken some of the gloss off of AJ`s win and signifuicance of that win.

Joshua and Wilder because both are big punchers with questionable chins. Apart from the knockdowns, the Fury fight against Wilder was a boxing clinic. It seems Fury outboxes everyone he fights.

Joshua/Wlad was better more changes in momentum, more knockdowns, just more drama in general.

Fury/Wilder was good but for the first 8 rounds it was pretty one sided with Fury dominating. The last 4 rounds were better but still not as good as the best moments of Joshua/Wlad.

I'd say the aj wlad fight but I was more buzzing about that 12th from the fury wilder fight.

AJ/Wlad, but Fury rising from the dead in the 12th was amazing.

Fury - Wilder had a better iconic moment with Fury getting up in the 12th. AJ - Wlad had more action, momentum completely swung twice and what a fight it was.

From a comedy perspective, the Wlad fight was better. Seeing career roidmonster Klitschko so shot that he couldn’t even defend himself against mediocre roidmonster AJ provided all kinds of comedy moments.

As far as the actual sport goes, Wilder- Fury actually featured two prime fighters in their best fights, in shape, and each actually trying to win till the final bell. Which is a rarity in boxing and what the sport should be about. So obviously that was the better fight.

41 year old Wladimir vs Joshua was DEFINITELY more competitive. Hands down. Many actually had Wlad up on the cards before that 11th round. Very competitive and exciting fight.

Fury vs Wilder was a schooling by Tyson bar the knockdowns. Great fight though. Especially by Fury coming back from where he fell to.

Great question and good post. For me, Fury Wilder edges it a bit. To me, the fact both are clearly prime, the fact its such a classic, perhaps THE classic example of Boxer v. Puncher, the greatest comeback from a near ko ever, and the fact that the guy I was rooting for (Fury and Wlad) had a better result in this one, all push this a bit ahead of the AJ Wlad fight.

But yeah, the bigger point is that its just an amazing time in the HW division right now.

Recently it is definitely AJ- Wlad

The last HW fight as exciting as that before then Vitali - Peter, as it was Vitali's first in 4 years out and he put a clinic on Sam Peter.

Tyson Fury isnt in attractive fights to watch unless there is alot riding on the result, and he or his opponent are dropped. He isnt an exciting fighter, but a great boxer. In general, AJ is always going to sell more PPVs and have more fans because his fights are more exciting to watch and he has a lot of power.

Both were great, historical fights. Joshua Klitschko edges it. That fight is a top ten atg heavyweight fight.

The heavyweight division is absolutely on fire at the moment with some massive and potentially great historical fights yet to come.
Joshua, Fury and Wilder and some top contenders all in the mix. With the inclusion of Usyk it has all the makings of a potential golden era in heavyweight boxing.

Also, going by Klitschko’s recent comments, I would not be surprised if he returns once there’s an eventual undisputed champion...
