Wilder has shown to have a good chin. I feel it is better than AJ's

But it doesn't really matter what he does does it? You and the rest of you pathetic haters will never give the man credit for anything. You all sound like a bunch of dumbasses.

Say about 10 lbs. You start putting him any further north it,ll probably be detrimental. He's needing a bit extra bulk for Joshua tho cause he,ll pretty much need to face a shellacking. I think he's a danger to Joshua tho. Fury's an expert at making guys miss Joshua's not quite as good at it. Always thought Joshua would bully him. I think he's got enough about him to be a danger tho. Joshua won't like the speed of them punches.

The stamina is going cause he's fighter bigger guys tho. 30 or 40 lbs is a hard amount of weight to make up for anyone. Pretty sure fury went back to the corner after the first round against klitchko and told peter klitchko was pretty weak strength wise. Think fury was stronger against klitchko than he was against Wilder tho.

    I see it like this:

    1. Light Wilder can run, hide and attack from behind ala run and gun style. Joshua will have a hard time sucking him in and bullying him in the pocket.

    2. Heavy Wilder will have a hard time avoiding AJ sucking him in and bullying him in the pocket. Even if he comes out of the pocket stronger this time he is still taking more punnishment because of the constant grinding in there. This is Joshua's A-game afterall.

Its like 4+4+4+4+4+4=24 vs 5+5+5=15 He needs to stay out of the pocket and not throw himself in to AJ's pit of heavy machine gun fire.

It will be like a medium sized swordsman with medium armor vs a big swordsman with heavy armor.

Better to leave the armor going for a spear priorities movement and looking for weakspots in the opponent instead.

I meant that for that 9th round KD specifically.

I've given Wilder plenty of credit. He can take a lick. His blows are vicious. He's got the heart of a fighter. Do I think he'll be in the elite tier of boxers when everything is said and done though? No. He'll be a good fighter who always fought hard, had a strong punch waiting for the right opportunity, and took a belt or two home with him. That's all.

Who cares?!!! He doesn't have to be!!! This criticism doesn't even make any sense! Its like you're looking for a reason to disparage him. This criticism means absolutely nothing! He's a hw champion who beats guys with his power and that's fine . I don't need every fighter to be a boxing savant. I was never a fan of Tyson Fury and considered him nothing but a crackhead, sideshow freak who was overrated and made his reputation off of a boring ass win against Wlad . But after watching several of his fights and seeing this incredible comeback from such a low place and to perform like he did on Saturday I have changed my tune on him and infect am now a fan because he proved me wrong! As a man I have no issues admitting when im wrong and I was wrong. I also believe he won the fight despite the knockdowns. I give DW huge credit for having such grit and determination getting outboxed round after round but continuing to press until he got the knockdowns and nearly won the fight in spectacular fashion. Both guys in my eyes are legit and deserve their respect especially DW who has received absolutely no credit from many of the idiots on this board who claim to be "real boxing fans".

I like Wilder the way he is. Coming in light is perfect for him. He just needs to be able to adapt and have a plan B if the right hand is not working, he needs to use his left hook more and set up the right hand better.

Fury took two flush shots, both knocked him down, one almost out. I'd say the man hits hard as ****.

I think Wilder must have a terrible team behind him tbh. I can see why they would want to come in light against a fleet of foot fighter but weight counts in this divison. He is best to come in at the mid 220's IMO.

At 212 he looked kind of weak in the lower body, for his height, and his stamina wasn't too impressive for that kind of low weight either. Maybe some lower body power lifting like Joshua does would do him good (I don't know what DW already does, so I can't really say). AJ's legs are like tree trunks. I think that Wilder in the 210's would still be good for AJ since AJ doesn't have the upper body movement of Fury or great stamina. On the other hand, how would Deontay's legs react if AJ clocks him with a right or an uppercut.

With VADA in place every fight he's in, I don't think he can effectively bulk up very much.

Rubbish! At that height he can put on plenty of weight on naturally.

Weight, sure. Effectively bulking up without other abilities suffering though is another matter.

Well Finkel and the crew need to be speaking to Oscar Fishnets to find out how expensive it is to be looked after the WBC and the state commissions in terms of getting away with drugs cheating.

I'm not sure it's the right path and that it would help him. Wilder's power at 214 will be enough for Joshua if he lands.
