Thats what I was thinking. The Kentucky Rosebud might not be something one would really want to dig up on... or down into...
1913 bouts listed an his boxrec record belong to different fighters (one black and one white, both local boys). The New York bout on June 11, 1915, NY Times' report has no mention of it being *that* Kentucky Rosebud. Overall, it's difficult to find a good overview write-up on him. Absolute majority of his fights were in Phila, boxing coverage in local newspapers had much to be desired. They usually had short reports with little details if at all. Too many bouts in too many clubs.
