I’m not a fan of Ingle, but this is an excellent interview and pretty much everything he alluded to with Brook was evident last night...he knows Kell is finished and probably advised him to pack it in.

No, I would rather there be no fight and just put the £20 on a Just Giving Page or something

That's true, but I was answering to the claim that the "Ingle style" didn't work for older fighters.
Brook boxed in a more orthodox style than Nelson and Witter which backs up my argument. Nelson would have gone on until his forties if it wasn't for his knee injury. Witter was world champion at 2 years older than Brook is now.

If Brooks trainer of so many years thinks that his speed and reflexes are going and he only has 1-2 fights left then he maybe right.

But I think its not a good idea to try and judge where Kell is based on marking time/warm up fight against a nobody. He probably wasnt really up for the fight.

It's amazing isn't it, people saying Brook is finished, Khan is well past it, they should both pack it in.

Yet how many of them will STILL pay to watch them!!!

Kell was p*ss poor on Saturday, looked decent moving forward with a nice variety of punches but absolutely no defensive reflexes. It could be he overtrained or as simple as a lot are saying - he's finished.

Hearn spoke about how every time one of Khan / Brook fights the favourite changes, what he didn't say though is it's for the wrong the reason - they fight, look sh*t, the other gets made favourite. I love domestic fights so would pay to watch Khan / Brook, being from the north myself it would probably be held up here too so I'd likely go. It would be a disgrace if they tried putting it in a football stadium though - a pretty meaningless grudge match like this is meant for the Manchester Arena and no more.

People are over reating doesn't anyone remember the poor performances by Joe calzaghe against nobodies and Then come the big dangerous fights he turns it on. You need at least 2 fights to see the same things before you can say the boxer has changed and is not what he was.

Give him u til next fight and we know more. Remember he only had 2 rounds in the whole of 2018 before he faught zefra which is not good for a fighter who relies on reflex and timing.

The eye socket isn't the issue. This has titanium plates which are stronger than bone, will hold and not swell/bruise etc directly. Its more physiological. They do this for MMA fighters/people who had car accidents etc etc the sockets breaking isn't the issue.

Agreed. Remember Carson Jones. He looked shocking in that but came back to do well. Hopefully Sat night was just a bad night and he gets back to form

Eddie Hearn told us that Wilder-Fury wouldn't happen. He also could tell that Brook was on it before his fight because of the look in his eyes.

Fighters have bad performances. What's more worrying with brook tho is he's acting eratically atm. Leaving ingle....constantly talking about khan....looking downbeat...employing fewkes. As someone said on here I m wondering if he's been on the drink or something like that heavy for a while. Something doesn't look right with him atm.

Just a guess. One things for sure tho there seems to be a problem. Hearns been digging him a lot recently mentioning undiscipline. Hearn usually champions his fighters for him to openly criticise someone that can make him big money for khan...it makes you think theres a big problem there. I m starting to think brook knows its over...desperate to get that khan payday so he can leave the sport. Not sure he's even interested in winning...just getting that money.
