Froch doesn't have a bloody clue about the fights happening, probably the fighters themselves or their situations just pure casual attitude to everything shocking the lack of knowledge required to be a SKY 'pundit'.

Slackers. They don't have to put any effort in or do proper research, and then we have to hear about how he fought in front of 80k at Wembley numerous times per show. There are some good pundits, but the 'big' names don't bother to try.

 

It is quite embarrassing really. Consider how prepared football commentators are who also have much more to remember. The likes of Froch are probably getting paid more than many of the fighters, especially the journeymen.

I laughed when Woolhouse asked Froch what fights Quais Ashfaq should be looking at next..Carl didn’t have a fcuking clue.

 

Carl ''Errol Spencer'' Froch is quite possibly the worst sports pundit to have ever appeared on British television. Whenever Paulie Malignaggi appears on Sky he raises the intelligence and integrity levels in the commentary box ten fold.

 

The most laughable aspect of this is that he’s phoning Hearn. He really can’t just look up boxrec and have a look on YouTube?

Also his source of information is Hearn. Hearn is just going to feed him pro Matchroom propaganda.

 

When Paulie M comes on it makes the usual Sky pundits look laughably gormless - he's levels above them in his observations and doesn't witter on about his previous fights like Froch.

 

Theres normally a 'media day' behind closed doors a few days before fights were the fighters and their teams meet journalists and pundits to get across the stories they want playing out for lesser fighters isn't there? Certainly seen footage of it recently.

 

Macklin stands out, he's on the level imo. Froch is that bad you could be forgiven for thinking hes doing it on purpose
