Like we could focus on the Salem fight vs Calzaghe, or even Bika..and the old man Hopkins
every fighter can have bad fight
    that dont make them fraud
he still has put 36 good hard round vs Hopkins and Wright who were really close

Well, it doesn't exactly bode well for beating big SMW's if you drop rounds to Cory Spinks. I even scored that fight for him, but I can see how people didn't

He lost to Hopkins. I don't know how he got those decisions, except for HBO. Winky-Wright, extremely debateable from what I remember, I couldn't bare watching it again. Then he got comprehensively beaten by Pavlik, who was a near nobody at the time with no experience of fighting at the elite level. Shouldn't get sparked by this sort of inexperienced fighter. To top it off he loses fairly wide the second time despite a little improvement

The omens aren't looking good. He's not shown power that is going to hurt a SMW in any of those fights, he's going to be smaller for once, often giving up height and reach which he struggled with against Pavlik. Where you get your optimism I've no idea.

Spinks ran a marathon in that fight. You never look good against Spinks. The guy's always moving. But i still do blame Taylor somewhat for not cutting off the ring and forcing the action. I mean it was so obvious that Spinks couldn't hurt Taylor and that Taylor could hurt Spinks so there was no risk. It was more of a mental mistake by Taylor than anything else.

    Wow, great response

Many thought he lost to Hopkins. I'm one

Many thought he lost to Wright, I saw it as one that could go either way being generous

He got whooped by Pavlik twice, fact

He struggled with two JMW's, fact

He hasn't shown much power in any of these fights, except for one time when he hit Pavlik with at least 10 power shots. Don't give me that old chestnut he hasn't had much chance against Hopkins/Wright, Pavlik is open to shots, and he fought two JMW's.

Tell me where I'm going wrong :deal
