I wonder if it’s super middle and if Frank is eyeing up that Degale - Saunders stadium fight, PPV he was harping on about a year ago?

Nobody at middle is going to fight BJS unless he’s mandatory, super middle has got a lot of options.

I posted in the General section that if you remember after the Eubank fight he boxed a journeyman French CW on a Buglioni undercard where he weighed in at 173 so this is nothing new. I reckon he will weigh in between 168 and 175 again just to get some ring rust off his back and then straight back down to MW after Christmas.

Maybe the news is he's got some more videos planned involving his rat fried Kid Galahad and taunting homeless people at Christmas. Seems to be his style.

    From Michael Benson:
Billy Joe Saunders has weighed in at 178.5lbs for his short-notice fight on Saturday against replacement opponent Charles Adamu - who was 173.2lbs.

Agree with most of what you said but boring? He has slick boxing skills if you find him boring you should stick to WWE

Someone has been eating all of the pies.

I can't find any pics from the weigh in. Must have quite the gut.

This guy was supposed to main even last time out in Boston. From that to not fighting on a PPV card 20 lbs over his fighting weight and the fight won't even be televised.

    That's one mighty fall.

Aye, but at least he’s shaking a bit of that ring rust off.

He might have weighed in @ 178 but he probably cut a bit to make weight. He actually looked even heavier tbh.

When he fights at middleweight he would be 170-175ish easy in the ring, maybe even more at times.

He looked far heavier than his fighting weight

Billie Joe is facing A.Bum, which is such a shame, 1 year on from his career best win and career highlight.

He was definitely shafted out of his belt with that dodgy "failed test". I wonder if fish eyes has the cash to take out legal action? He definitely needs to in my opinion

Bit worrying kind of looks like he can't make anywhere near his weight....without "additional help".

He’s not had a training camp as he, probably a couple of weeks. He’s just took a last minute fight against a pudding. He’d have been in perfect shape for Andrade and then piled on weight since.

What's the point in this fight?

I'll suggest now that there won't be any successful legal action, and all the talk from Warren and Saunders of suing is a weak attempt to save face. He signed up to specific testing, and he failed said testing. He's a drug cheat, and everyone knows it

As for this fight, it's beyond pointless. How is Saunders shaking anything off when he hasn't even made light heavy against a total nobody opponent who may have held some relevance fifteen years ago? I mean, this isn't Saunders coming off a three year absence. He was supposedly fighting fit at middleweight a few months ago?!

I like BJS as a fighter but to be outside of the light-heavyweight limit is not good
