His promotion definitely did avoid Wilder back when Fury wasn't in the picture. It was all sort of nonsense excuses and you could sense which side was ducking. They probably wanted to do a May-Pac style waiting game for build up OR they really were avoiding him because back then Wilder's danger/weaknesses weren't as apparent, now that Fury exposed him somewhat all of a sudden they're clamoring for the fight.

How did they avoid it when they were sending contracts? Contracts for more money than Wilders just earned from his own PPV headline. Im still struggling to see how they avoided it by doing that but Deontay did want it by not signing any of the contracts or not sending any of their own.

This fight should happen sooner than later come hell or high water.
We don't want another old aged fighters doing it 10 years later than it should have just for money - for the sake of boxing !

Joshua saw how pathetic Wilders boxing is, and now he wants to get rid of this paper champion from the heavyweight landscape.

The Match room team don't want Fury getting that WBC belt it won't surprise me if they make Wilder a big offer to fight either Whyte or Chisora next.

Fury should publicly step aside for this fight, knowing he's the true king... Take another warm up fight to knock off the last of the ring rust, someone top 20 ....Use the publicity of the AJ/DW April 13th fight to build the Lineal title fight for all the belts in the summer... Now that would be epic!

That was them saving face, in the beginning when the fight could be made they showed no interest at all.

I got the impression AJ doesn't really want the fight either, not yet at least. He even seemed a little annoyed at Kellerman.

Why would he do that? It's an ideal situation for the fans but let's be honest, any AJ Wilder fight will come with a rematch clause.

He seemed frustrated more than anything else. From his perspective he's done almost everything to secure the fight. They agreed terms, he sent a contract and Wilder refused to sign it yet somehow the narrative by some is that he is ducking and I think he's perplexed by that.

Joshua has now made it very clear April, Wembley, 2019, can't accuse him of not having a date and venue for the fight this time. Last offer from Hearn was a split according to Hearn and even the original offer is almost likely double what he made fighting Fury.

The whole narrative from Wilder fans is bat **** mental. Every second of the day they try discredit him, it's doesn't matter what he say, they'll take it as the opposite. It's like a religious cult. AJ isn't scared of anybody in the division, his record so far proves that. Wilder on the other hand thought he could get a easy nights work from an unfit Fury. Anyone who says AJ is ducking Fury is also an idiot, AJ battered Fury in sparring when he was a novice.

Battered is an exaggeration. According to Fury he underestimated Joshua, got cracked by an uppercut that hurt him in the first round and then realised he had better not mess about with this kid and proceeded to out box him for the rest of the sparring.

Carry on with the video, Tyson says he gave him a beating for 3 rounds. He never said he outboxed him after.
