I reckon this will be close for the first 5/6 rounds. If Rocky can keep it long, use straight rights and bang in uppercuts on an incoming Canelo then he will have success. A hard, straight right from Fielding will have enough oomph to do some damage, it's just a case of him being able to land it cleanly. He needs to be clever, but also take chances when he can. This is his one big opportunity. I've always been quite indifferent about Rocky, but I'm backing him in this fights. I think he'll be up for it and will shock a lot of people with how well he performs. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he wins by KO.
Not bad at all. Lemieux-Johnson could be fun. Ali-Herrera....Ali should win at this stage but Herrera at least used to be a lot better than his record suggested. Was robbed against Garcia some time ago Farmer-Fonseca is a bit meh but Farmer is a good operator so can be decent to watch in some sense Taylor's fight...I never really care about these. Lass she's fighting is undefeated but has never fought outside the hotbed of boxing that is Finland and is also 38 Ryan Garcia is hovering around the same sort of level still, but his young and still flawed, so can be exciting too.
would love to see the underdog get the win BUT Clenelo within 6 -- could be a very early night if Canelo starts fast
As i said in another thread, if your knocking Fielding for that you have clearly never been involved in boxing beyond your computer, pathetic.
99% on here have probably never been involved in boxing. Just because most haven't doesn't mean they can't have an opinion and slate a fighter who clearly came for a payday/selling his belt. I've never seen someone so happy to give up his 'world' title. Terrible tactics too. ****ing brainless.
Means the opinion is quite obtuse really, like me having an opinion on the production of staplers after watching how its made ? No one gave up a belt ffs he came back from two knockdowns i know for a fact most wouldnt. Tactics were shite thats agreed but its more a case of they went out the window as he realised canelo was closing the distance to easily early
He was smiling from start to finish!? And they weren't knockdowns - he was taking knees (while smiling).
It seems the best place to find people who literally know fck all about boxing is on a boxing forum, thats magic
