    1. I think Canelo has significantly improved as a fighter in the last 3 or 4 fights.
    2. Rocky Fielding is on another level, a level wayyyy below the top middleweights.
    3. It takes a boxer with elite skills or elite power to fight toe to toe with Canelo.

Rocky Fielding is a better fighter than you'll ever be, so who the hell are you to call him trash? He's a guy living his dream so good luck to him.

Didn’t you know everyone on here’s a world class boxer and trainer, with balls of steel and a Lion heart?

Canelo is technically very very good, good power and granite chin.
But still a notch below prime GGG.
And i reckon he'd still struggle with quick, slick boxers like BJS.
Ginger has been elite level for a while now.

    Fielding is average euro level.

Below GGG??? Gtfo GGG couldn't beat the smaller Canelo coming out from a 1 year layoff and knee surgery , on top of that GGG only has a very close fight against Jacbos and a draw with Canelo, imo hes overrated

Wasn't there a rehydration clause? Not exactly easy for a 6'1 guy to make the weight, then prevent rehydration then take body-shots.

If golovkin retired right now, based on resume, i would rate him a B level fighter and im not kidding.

As for the thread, canelo did what he was supposed to do against an inferior opponent. Great pressure and vicious body shots, i think he might be the best body puncher in boxing right now. He sticks to a gameplan and doesnt throw wild shots when he has a guy hurt. Very mature, professional, and focused.

Does anyone know the limit of the rehydration clause was? I think the IBF rehydration clause is 10 pounds, could be mistaken though.

99% of boxers we see on tv are a better fighter than you will ever be too, have you never called a fighter on tv trash or words to that effect?

It was farcical. Rocky fielding put up less resistant than Khan and that was with a huge height and reach advantage, he just gave his height up from the opening bell. He gave it his best for sure but these two are not meant to be sharing the ring together, you might as have labelled this as a tune up fight.

I did say prime GGG fool. Read the post.

Prime GGG would be above Ginger, but GGG is about 3-4 years past prime.

Fielding went there to be a sparring punching bag who earns good pay for few rounds,
    Not a bad payday,
