Wow what a beat down. Canelo looked better than ever tbh. I have never seen him so destructive and against a much much bigger man. What a performance! He actually looked very beatable in his last few KO wins, Smith, Khan, Angulo and Kirkland. Last night he looked untouchable. Now the calibre of opposition might be considered the lowest but still size matters. Fielding was a unit, and he was cowering after every punch. Makes me wish Canelo stays @ 168 and steps it up a bit. This version of Canelo will be a tough man for anyone @ 168 to beat. I always knew he had the skills, but it was the machismo and the power that surprised me. I honestly thought he would box a bit more and wait for Fielding to get a little tired. Canelo came out with bad intentions, I have never seen him in that mode before. Probably the closest to it was Kirkland fight but even then it was more Kirkland bringing the heat and getting countered.
His hand speed and power has improved over years I doubt he'll improve much Shown to be tough against GGG when lets face it he was used to fighting smaller guys who weren't known as big punchers But I think the slick boxers will always give him trouble.
Nah he looked like how he always looks against his cherry picks, his hand speed and power is too much for these guys.
Context. Fielding was a stiff. Made to display Canelo's strengths. Can't punch, can't take a punch. Not remotely ready for prime time. How can anyone support the charade that occurred last night?
Because he fought a bunch of slow molasses robots? He looks the same.A plodder with good power specially the body shot. Educate ya self on the sport of baxxin!
He looked fantastic. Kept his speed, but looked to be stronger and hitting harder than ever. I think his body is probably most comfortable at 168 and his stamina will be improved as well. Rockys no world beater but that performance has put the division on notice.
Yes, he looked invincible, didn't he? I can't believe how much he stepped it up to deal with somebody of Rocky's well known world dominating caliber. Truly a magnificent man to even have the balls to take such a fight.
