They certainly are. Id be very happy if either of these got made. Good fights. Hope Canelo would bring the best out of Jacobs and Smiths good i thought hed proved that to everybody by now but im reading thats not the case. Yeah hes technically a good couple of levels below Canelo but hes still good and certainly good enough to make plans on how to use an advantage like a much longer reach. By no means a clash of the titans to some people but the mans still a champ.

No hydration clause though. Not for the belts were not starting that silly game again with Canelo. the dirty cheat scumbag.

It's not what I said at all.

He already fought for a belt and everybody act like it was some sort of legit belt he won at 168 lbs, what's the point of fighting for the better version ? There are better fights at middleweight to make and he could be what GGG never managed, being the unified champion with all the belts. He can fight Jacobs and Andrade.

Fielding had more success against Canelo than Smith.

I'd have smith beating the GGG that Canelo lost to twice, so barring a robbery, I don't see Canelo winning this.....Or making this.

I would be very happy with either Jacobs or Smith next. I hope it's one of them.

Nothing wrong with a hydration clause, as long as it's reasonable.... which they rarely are.
Alvarez asking for a clause similar to what the IBF asks would and should be fine. No one should complain. But will it happen? Doubtful(if indeed there is a rehydration clause).

I respect your opinion. I saw him stop Fielding. I just think he is ducking the top talent in both divisions. From what I have seen Benavidez would stop Smith, and many of the top MWs would give Canelo all he could handle yet he is looking for a fight with Smith. It's not what fans would like to see.

Yeah Benavidez probably would stop Smith, but he'd also probably stop Canelo. Along with David and Gilberto, Callum Smith is the Top Talent at SMW, so if Canelo takes the fight, he won't be ducking any the top talent for a change. Its a good fight.

I don't remember any of Canelo's foe, like Cotto, calling for hydration clauses when he was fighting at 154. It is a one way street with Canelo, which is one of the reasons (among many) why so many boxing fans can't stand the guy.

As I say, I have seen Smith fight and I have seen Benavidez fight. Smith is average, Benavidez is top tier. Let him fight the better comp.

Hey, Canelo, stop all the BS. You say you will fight anyone. Well, do it. Talk is cheap. Stop ducking the real talent out there. You've already been handed two gifts against GGG. Let's see how many gifts they are willing to hand out. Maybe the next guy knocks you flat out and takes the YOUR judges out of the equation.

Sounds fishy to me. Maybe Smith was offered some money to take a dive.

Benavidez has beaten Porky Medina and Ronald Gavril, Callum Smith has beaten George Groves, Erik SKoglund, Nieky Holzken, Rocky FIelding, Hadillah Mouhamodi, Luke Blackledge and Christopher Rebrasse. Purely based on their competition, Smith>>>>>>>>Benavidez. Sure the eye test leans towards David H2H, but as of right now, like it or not, Callum is THE MAN in the division and the better comp. This is not ducking, this is a stern test for Canelo, one I'm not sure he can pass. Just trust me on this one.

I'm not arguing with you, but it hasn't happened yet, so this is merely a hypothetical outcome we're speaking of. As of right now Callum is an undefeated champ and the MAN in the division, so if Canelo beats him, then he'll be the man in the division. David is with PBC, and thus far, they're not doing business with DAZN, that's not Canelo's fault.
