Could you get to 168 lbs and KO Rocky Fielding if given 8 weeks to prepare?

Yknow, I’ve been a boxing fan for many years, and that’s one thing I’ve never been able to figure out. How the heck were those old school guys able to fight in such rapid succession? SRR rematched LaMotta three weeks after their first fight, with another fight in between. That is insane!

Unless some touted prospect or faded veteran lurks on these forums, and has managed to stay an unknown lurker, the answer is absolute zero. As someone above said, Fielding would beat almost every single professional boxer at 160-168 in the entire world who isn't a top 10-15 ranked guy. So, yeah, I don't care if you are a fit 200 pounder with some gym experience, you would get made to look stupid.

But he'd be considered pro Level unlike us untrained non fighters. There's the massive difference

The answer is that that's how long it takes to set up, train for a fight, and heal from the last one. Modern fighters are lazy pussies.

If you still regularly spar hard against decent and upcoming fighters and have trained for a long time but never competed as a pro and have some amateur experience there's a remote chance for sure. Pro standard of boxing is poor nowadays, almost anyone can become a pro just need some backing behind you. Fielding is garbage.

No it wouldn’t and no you wouldn’t.

You would be horribly, concussively knocked out early or utterly crushed and stretchered out with the first body punch.

Maybe people have Rocky( the movie) in their head when they think of fights but the reality of being punched by a professional boxer is so far beyond relatable to 99.9% of the people on here.

You would quit as soon as you felt the wind off a missed punch and the speed and ferocity of the reality you’re facing once the bell went would shake you to your core.

Fielding would utterly ****ing destroy anyone not a pro on here and beat a good chunk of pros at his level too.

If you’re not a pro/on the cusp of turning pro and can make it out of the first round with Rocky Fiekding I’ll give you a substantial sum of money for the achievement.

I assume this is just a troll post because the suggestion that regular hard sparring and some amateur experience is enough to give Rocky Fielding a run for it over 12 is some of the most delusional shiit I’ve heard.

Edited since. Don't be confused by the moniker "pro" you have to have sparred pro level fighters is what I'm saying but you wouldnt have to be one yourself necessarily. Remote chance but a chance all the same.

I believe I could beat him on 8 years notice, training 2 times a day.

For a world level fight, Canelo vs. Fielding was a joke. Nobody on here ever said they could beat Fielding in a boxing match.

You want me to believe boxing has the best fighters in the world when ya'll can't stop a double leg, or defend a choke? GTFOH.

A average Joe vs a seasoned pro, makes me think Alis quote might cover the matter:
"If you dream of beating me you'd better wake up and apologize."
