Well I guess we know why GGG has been ducking Derveryanchenko and Korobov...

    Since the amateurs.

Yeah, those Kell Brook, Willie Monroe and Lemieux defenses REALLY look impressive now.

BTW I have nothing against GGG. Great talent, seemingly a nice guy, but the future is now! It's pretty obvious he's been protected for years, his next choice of opponent will say everything we need to know about who he is.

Ward, Lara, Deveryanchenko, Korobov, Charlo, Groves and a few others I can't remember all wanted the fight and CALLED for it. He fight Lemieux and Willie Monroe, that's the facts...

    Stop trying to rewrite history
Ggg was 100% open to fighting any champ that was (a PPV event from 154/68)

He was finally bought off by canelo, canelo is elite of the elites.... Ggg thought out boxing him would be enough to get a fair decision, but he was wrong.

Canelo could (lose ONLY by being KTFO) and anyone that knows anything about boxing knows any truly elite fighter can fight competitive without giving his opponent the chance to catch him with fight ending shots, (most of the time)

Canelo was able to keep most rounds fairly close which means he wins said rounds by ALL Judges in landslide fashion..

This is not only because canelo (IS THE CASH Cow) but he's the much younger cash cow that's got many more years in the game while ggg has been on his last legs for years.

Ggg knows who the fans saw winning which was him and the better man ON BOTH NIGHTS, that's enough for him.

He ducked them because the Canelo fight was on the horizon. TBH I don't think Korobov's any danger but Derev I think could have been a problem.

Korobov looked OK against Charlo but if you honestly think that version gives GGG any trouble at all then YDKSAB. Rather, Charlo was exposed as a more limited fighter than we thought. Canelo will probably fight him now. Derevyanchenko is the more dangerous of the two, but it was clear that GGG was open to fighting him ... but not at the expense of a Canelo payday.

I mean I'm just saying, at least Kovey gave a couple of his Soviet boys a paycheck and a network show; Pirog, Devery, Korobov? Where were the GGG fights? Golovkin is like a modern day Jack Johnson or Joe Louis, they'n fight no bruvas at all.

I'm sorry but you clearly aren't taking the facts into account:

GGG Vs Pirog was a done deal, Pirog pulled out with injury.

GGG Vs Korobov was agreed for 2016 before the IBF mandated the Wade fight, forcing Golovkin to make that defence.

Derevyanchenko is the only person that you could say Golovkin avoided, although he only emerged recently.

I guess we all know why GGG was NOT ducking Charlo now huh? Lol

And Gennady would most likely stop Korobov (Matt doesn’t juice like Clenelo) or get an actual decision against him and not worry about a robbery. For obvious reasons.
