Hearn was unhappy with Warrington for not stepping up earlier in his career. Warrington's team wanted a few more easy fights to help him along the way and what a decision that's proved to be. Selby and Frampton on the resume in a year, fantastic.

Feel for Carl. Great fighter but it's the end of the road. Hope his bank account is healthy.

I used to rate Martin Lindsay way back in the day and I was really impressed by how Warrington handle him. Lindsay was past his best but experienced then.

Selby I did honestly think was weight drained.

But it's not that I didn't rate Warrington, I just didn't think he was as good as he has proven to be.

Was Frampton past his best? I think he was in the best shape of his life but he may have been slightly on the slide. But that doesn't matter, because I would pick Warrington against all the other champs after that performance.

If he can do that to Carl Frampton even when he is/was supposedly "finished", then he can do it to anyone.

Don't get me wrong, Santa Cruz would give him a much tougher test than last night was for him, but I still think he could come out with the same result!

Didn't think I'd ever say this but I give Warrington the edge on LSC now (although I am almost 50/50 on it)

Crazy to think this is the dude who really didn't look all that against Amagasa and Martinez. Improved an insane amount.

Fair play to warrington i thought selby would school him, but warrington outmanned him, took him apart. i thought frampton would be a little bit too good, andwarrington beat him aswell. Hes good one of our top 5 fighters now.

Still to see the fight. Surprised at how highly Warrington's being rated atm tho. All credit to the boy...he's done brilliantly this year...silenced a lot of critics and came on leaps and bounds. But reckon these wins are slightly making him look better than he is. A good part of boxing's an age game. He's got the attributes to see off these ageing fighter. The size and work rate is hard for guys to match over thirty....the age guys are starting to have real weight problems at. He,ll be in that same position in a few years time.

Selby....definitely looked weight drained. So much so he's apparently jumping two weights next.

Frampton was forced up quite recently. Would struggle to deal with the size advantage. Without seeing the fight.

Feel like warrens picking these guys at the perfect time for Warrington.

Just my take on it. Regardless tho. Well done to the kid. Really proven himself this last year. That is still a great achievement...beating Selby and frampton regardless. Look forward to him proving me wrong and beating the other top guys.

Selby was drained for all his fights in the past few years. Most fighters are drained. Warrington was and is just better than him. Don't mistake flashy moves and looking slick for being better.

People said that about Selby and Frampton look how that panned out. Can't right the kid of against anyone. Whoever he fights is in for a tough night.
My guess is it cud b galahad as his mandatory if they can't get a unification fight.
