Very hard to score like I said could easily swing some rounds to the other person like, fun to watch like, which fight would yer say to watch next from yer list like, any in particular?
Probably in terms of actually being fun to watch. Vargas-Dulorme, Broner-Vargas, Wanheng-Taduran or Mchunu-Oosthuizen.
Vargas dulorme 9 10 9 10 Close 10 9 very Close 9 10 very Close 9 10 Close 9 10 10 9 9 10 Close 9 10 Close 10 8 9 10 very Close 8 10 110 116 Decent fight to watch like felt like both were decent in there own specific skills and this allowed for an interesting fight. Feel like Vargas was at times to stationary with his head movement and didn’t throw enough punches at times and this allowed dulorme to take some rounds even if hendidnt throw the best punches. After this fight I don’t rate Vargas at world level at all and will back against him if he tries stepping up a level and feel like dulorme more than deserved to win and honestly I can only see it being a dulorme win and can’t even give Vargas a draw with 7-5 dulorme being the best result I could give vargas. Let me know what scores everyone else got.
Same here, I was shocked that a few people o the RBR actually scored it for Vargas but most either had it close for Dulorme or a draw. IIRC I had it 115-111 Dulorme.
Whoever scored it for Vargas must have been watching a different fight in all honesty. Vargas is no where near world level tbf.
Mchunu oosthuizen 9 10 10 9 very Close 9 10 very Close 10 9 very Close 9 10 very Close 10 9 10 9 very Close 10 9 very Close 10 9 Close 10 9 Close 9 10 very Close 10 9 very Close 116 112 One of the hardest fights I’ve ever scored and feel like so many rounds could have gone the over way with no complaints from me, tommy was more active but imo very ineffective with hardly and shots connecting in my eyes with his shots either hitting the gloves or falling short with mchunu being much less inactive but landing more clearly which allows him to edge most of the hard rounds to score. I have no problem with a oosthuizen win tho as I could easily switch some rounds his way but by my live scoring of it I just felt like mchunu cleaver and More effective punching won him this fight, what scores did everyone else have? Another fight done @CST80
Relikh troyanovsky 10 9 very Close 10 9 10 9 very Close 10 9 very Close 10 9 very Close 9 10 9 10 very Close 9 10 10 9 9 10 very Close 9 10 9 10 114 114 Good fight to watch like, felt like both had their moments throughout where they enforced their styles onto the other with relikh using his workrate and aggression to come forward and pressure troyanovsky which allowed him to edge out the early rounds but honestly I could have switched almost all of the to troyanovsky as I felt like he just seemed to land more jabs and land more accurately but kept being outworked which frustrated me honestly as I felt that had troyanovsky being more willing to let his hands go and throw more combos then he would have easily won this fight as he just had the better jab, more accurate punches and even finished the fight much better winning his rounds more decisively in the later part of the fight. Felt like relikh is a decent fighter but was competitive in part due to his superior workrate, lack of respect for troyanovskys power meaning he would constantly walk him down and use his aggression to win the very Close rounds. In the second part of the fight troyanovsky seem to pick it up and pick relikh apart at times but seemed to constantly get hurt slightly or stunned and this kinda stunted his momentum at times but did enough to win the majority of the second part of the fight. The annoying thing was when relikh decided to showboat at the end acting like he comfortably won the fight and this makes me want to see him get ktfo honestly. Close fight overall and I have no problems with a win for either but if I had to go with someone I did feel like troyanovsky would have won that for me. What scores did everyone else have and what did they think of this fight and another fight done @CST80 enjoying these fights yer suggested, would be curious to know what score yer had for this
I scored it 115-113 Troya, but said 114-114 is fine as well. Strange how all three of the official judges came up with 115-113 score for Relikh, when no one on the site that's scored it yet has found that extra round to give him. When ironically the rounds Troya won, were far less questionable than the ones Relikh won.
Tete aloyan 10 8 10 9 10 9 10 9 very Close 9 10 Close 9 10 Close 10 9 Close 10 9 Close 9 10 very Close 9 9 9 9 9 10 very Close 114 111 Quite a boring fight to watch in my eyes anyway. Felt like tete was just soo much more active with the jab which won him this fight peettt much as neither landed much else clean but tetes jab was constantly landing every round making it hard to score many of the rounds against him and aloyan inactivity throughout most rounds helped this allowing tete to win most his rounds comfortably. For me aloyan seemed to land slightly more accurately but landed so much less that I couldn’t give him the rounds at times or if I did they were very close as it took him to r11 to actually win a round on workrate and punching volume as well as accuracy. Soo frustrating to watch aloyan as he has talent but is either soo worries about his gas tank or too scared to let his hands go but overall tetes jab won him the fight in this fight. Be interested to see what other people scored this. Feel free to give yer score for this or any fight on here and give some recommendations of what to watch. Be nice to see some new faces in this thread with me and @CST80
Meneyothin taduran 9 10 Close 10 9 10 9 very Close 10 9 10 9 10 9 very Close 10 9 Close 10 8 (point deduction) 9 10 Close 9 10 Close 9 9 (point deduction) 10 9 116 110 Great fight to watch I felt but also hard to score as there’s that many punches being thrown it can be hard to keep track of them all haha. Felt like meneyothin had the better accuracy and landed more to the head whereas taduran brought the constant pressure higher work rate and great bodywork to make most rpunds close but his accuracy lacked which may be down to his wild punches he sometimes threw which meneyothin was able to miss consistently. Could easily give taduran rounds 3 and 6 as they were that close that I just went with my gut on who won the rounds. Can’t see a taduran won tho but he gave it a good fight and has plenty of time to improve his technique and gain experience. Deffo gonna keep an eye on both of these guys. What scores did everyone else have and give me some more suggestions on what to watch. Be interested to know your score @CST80 since you recommended this.
Broner Vargas 9 10 9 10 9 10 9 10 10 9 9 10 Close 10 9 Close 9 10 10 9 Close 10 9 9 10 9 10 112 116 Good fight to watch it was, both fighters landed some big punches throughout. Vargas’s workrate won him the early rounds as broner seemed hesistant to throw many punches but as the rounds went on it seemed like broner gained confidence and started landing with better accuracy then Vargas even tho he was being outworked he was able to win more of the later rounds but when it came to the champions rounds Vargas’s workrate and bodywork won him these rounds and the fight imo. Broner landed the flashier and more accurate punches whereas Vargas threw more, landed more body shot and some nice head shots to win him this fight in a close one. Wouldn’t mind knowing how others scores this one and other fights in this thread.
Charlo Korobov 9 10 9 10 9 10 9 10 9 10 9 10 10 9 9 10 Close 9 10 close 10 9 9 10 10 9 111 117 Saw a lot of people criticising the outcome of the fight in the Charlo rbr so thought I’d score it myself and see what I came up with. Decent fight to watch it was but for the 1st half the fight Korobov seemed to just outclass Charlo constantly landing with the left and being able to avoid most of charlos shots which were most single punches which made it easier for Korobov. Korobov also demonstrated nice footwork to get himself into range and set himself up to throw that left hand but threw it at the right time rather than constantly trying to Landing it and when Charlo lunges in Korobov tended to counter with the nice right hand, Korobovs punch accuracy, footwork and ring iq seemed to be on another level compared to Charlo who seemed to keep waiting to throw that right and getting countered when he tried using it. As the rounds went on it looked like Korobov was getting a bit tired and his punch output went down slightly allowing Charlo to walk Down and try pressing Korobov which did help him land punches of his own but Korobov still manages the range well most the time and still displayed nice shot selection and accuracy with that left to win some of the closer rounds. But Charlos youth and athleticism allowed him to throw a higher output of punches in the later rounds to help him win some of the rounds along with starting to establish a decent jab which started to land but still Charlo kept waiting for that big right hand which landed but not much allowing a tired Korobov to take some of the closer rounds in the latter parts of the fight. Then in the final round Charlo finally landed a big punch which hurt Korobov and then hurt Korobov again in the middle parts of the last round but still Korobov displayed a nice left hand which had nice accuracy even when hurt. Overall Korobov displayed good footwork, shot selection, managing of range, nice left hand and ring in whereas Charlo didn’t really do much besides hurt Korobov towards the end and started to use his youth and athleticism to his advantage as well as utilising his jab at times but waiting for that 1 big punch hampered Charlo severely and lost him the right on my card as the closest I could give Charlo is a 115 113 Korobov and that’s giving Charlo every benefit of the doubt but in my eyes Korobov won this fight.
