That's great achievement for our country. Ukrainian gold team from 2012 rocks at pro boxing.

    Boxrec p4p ranking:
    Loma #3
    Usyk #5
    Gvozdyk #15

Only Mexico has more boxers at top-15.

And there are young generation fighters like Oleksandr Khyzhniak, named Fighter of the year in amateur boxing in 2017. He has great style for pro boxing

Ukraine should be proud some achievement. The K brothers started this movement and now Ukraine produces immense talent in many weight classes

Ukraine is really good at producing fighters. Even compared to the rest of the former soviet union. They seem like likable enough guys too.

Dalakian looks like a beast at flyweight. Do you know if he's called anyone out or if he has plans to unify in 2019?

Boxrec only matters if someone has an agenda.

Boxrec' ratings are BS, but Ukrainians being a force in the pro ranks is a known fact.

its great for the sport. more and more countries are producing multiple world class fighters at any one time. seems like uk, japan, phillipines, argentina, etc... all had their time in the sun the last 20 years. i think only uk has done it multi-generational, like the us, mexico, and till recently, puerto rico have. usa, mexico and uk are expected to always be well represented in all lists, they have the numbers, history and culture, to produce good boxers. its tougher for these other smaller nations to consistently produce multiple world class boxers who can rule divisions.

This shows BoxRec's limitations. The rankings should be:

    #1 Lomachenko
    #2 Usyk
    #15 Gvozdyk

I think it's a fantastic achievement for a country with such a tiny fraction of the population and resources of more established boxing nations. Kind of makes a nonsense of the endless bellyaching some countries bring up for their lack of success. If people want something bad enough they'll succeed.
