Norton gave boxers fits, can't see Ezzard hurting Norton enough to keep him off.

Not the meeting of the two but the number of bouts, where did you come up with 4, something that never would have happened after the early 1900's?

I'd say Charles wins 3, wins 2 convincingly, and Norton wins 1. Charles had a slightly different style than Ali and Holmes, and he was better on this inside. He might be more consistent here.

Btw a prime Ali would sweep Norton 4 for 4

Maybe Norton gets ripped off at least once in the series .As he did in the Ali series .He'd need another fight to score revenge .

Here is what casual fans will say. But 170 pound Ezzard Charles beat Joe Louis. That must mean Charles could beat Norton. Louis in reality was a average fighter who was lucky to come along when he did. If Louis was in his prime during the 70's he would of been considered a club fighter. No footwork, no chin, and his power was good enough to knock out the tomato cans during this watered down era but that isn't saying much. Norton had problems with heavyweights who could punch really hard. He didn't have problem with 170 pound fighters. Norton would jump all over Charles and stopped him like Lloyd Marshall a 165 pound fighter did or how 190 pound Jersey Joe Walcott did.
