Very intruiging fight, this. Heart says Chunky will style on Eubank and embarrass him; but head says Eubank Jr wins by decision or late stoppage by sheer output and accumulation of shots -- especially if Eubank targets Degale's surgically repaired shoulder, and Degale goes back to his bad habit of laying back on the ropes for big clumps of each round while Junior tees off on him.

Really want Degale win this, and a few years ago I'd have picked him to beat Eubank without hesitation. But now I think Eubank is getting him at the right time. I don't think Degale has the gas tank or the power to keep Eubank at bay for 12 rounds. Groves was able to punish Eubank with timing and hurt him when he was lunging in. Groves schooled him from a technical standpoint, but it wasn't an easy fight, per se. He still had to work extremely hard for the win. I could see Degale winning the early rounds against Eubank, but can't see him being able to sustain it due to too many wars, too much mileage and the dodgy shoulder diminishes his jab. I think Eubank's fitness, work-rate and tenacity will take over, and he gets a late stoppage.

Really hope I'm wrong, and Degale isn't as shot as he looked against Truax.

I think Eubank wins this. He isn't world level and was probably exposed skillwise vs. Groves BUT he showed he is always ready to go to war and also has a very good chin. I can't say DeGale has enough left to go to war with a fresher, younger and more active opponent. DeGale was involved in too many wars over the years. Eubank SD, MD or UD.

Cej should come out and destroy degale, ending the mismatch before the championship rounds.

It's not just the age, wear and tear, I fully believe he under estimated GG big time and thought his name would be enough to sway the close rounds his way.

By the time he figured out GG was there to win it was already too late in the fight. I see him proving that was a fluke miss calculation and he's all in to win now

Decent fight but kinda surprised it’s on PPV. Hopefully it has a good undercard for it. DeGale looks like he’s there for the taking honestly as he’s been through the battles and isn’t getting any younger. Whereas Eubank Jr is in physically much better condition and has the energy to go the full 12 at a hard pace which should expose DeGales gas tank and allow EubankJr to win the later rounds and get a close ud or have enough power to get a late stoppage whether it’s ref stepping in or Eubank Jr getting a legitimate stoppage over DeGale. Interesting fight tho and depends on how much Eubank Jr has improved and how much DeGale has deteriorated.

Hearn isn't involved with this fight. Different channel, different promoters.

The Degake tgat should of won on points against Jack and Groves beats any versiobn of CEJ. Just depends how much Degale has left.

Eubank Jr is so out of touch. Says he's going to school an olympic gold medallist after being dominated by Groves. If DeGale turns up and takes this seriously it'll be so one-sided it's not even funny..

I like Eubank Jr's style. He gets up close to anyone and he's a force to be reckoned with. But as we've seen, against any 'box and move' world level opponent, he loses. That is a fact. I consider DeGale to be in that box and move category.

He's tasted Badou Jack so Eubank offers nothing new. Eubank is so average at super-middleweight. What is he even doing there at that weight, get back down to middleweight. This is going to be one way traffic. DeGale on points, 10-2. Easy.

I don’t like either, both come across as complete dick heads.

I think Degale is done and Jr blows him out in 5 rounds

I see this as a mismatch but cej way. Inside 5 might be too bold for me but u see by round 5 cej will have implemented his domination ending it late rounds
