Is Khan still obligated to fight on Sky PPV?

 

The only thing Khan will be remembered for is firstly having one of the worst Glass Jaws this country has ever seen, and secondly avoiding Brook. That's it.

 

For once, Khan has probably got it right. If he fights Brook and loses, the Crawford fight is gone. If he fights Crawford and loses - despite what Eddie Hearn says - the Brook fight is still available. Brook has proved he'll hang around forever. Might as well fight Crawford. Two cash out fights is better than one

 

Kkan has proper trolled Hearn and Brook. They both must have thought the brook fight was a given, when he signed and now he has ****ed both of them over. They must be so annoyed. Another thing he is getting paid 5million plus, and is taken less money than the brook fight, so how much would he have got if he fought brook?

Thought Khan would be getting more respect for fighting Crawford...like people are saying win or loose the Brook fight will always be there. Brook is obsessed with Khan he will always be begging man for the fight.

Would love it for Khan to pull it out the bag and batter Crawford lol...this forum would go into a complete meltdown!

 

This is a great fight for Crawford, the exposure from fighting Khan will be big and in terms of where they are in their careers this will be a nice easy tick over fight. Crawford will stop Khan when he feels like it.

Khan does deserve credit for taking this fight though, he might have a few losses on his record but to have shared a ring with the likes of Barrera, Malignaggi. Judah, Maidana, Canelo, Garcia etc this lad is a warrior. Yeah, he’s avoided Brook but i’m glad we’ve been spared of that ppv now cos it’s way past it’s sell by date.

 

Hurd has called Brook out and said he's willing to come to the UK for the fight. Brook is Hurd's mandatory.

Khan has scuppered the plans, what does Brook do now? He did put the light middleweight division on notice remember.

 

Brook should contact Poxson and see if he can get to be part of the Haymon/PBC deal on ITV. Eddie can’t do anything for him now, it might not be Hearns fault but that’s the reality. Kell should get the biggest money he can against one of Al’s welterweights and then call it a day.

I wouldn’t want him to fight Hurd though as he can’t win that fight and he would likely take a bad beating in the process.

 

Win or lose Khan will never fight Brook.
Hope Crawford knocks him out.

Brook on principle should tell Khan to do one now. And I think that's likely to happen when Khan comes crawling back to Hearn, when he's brutally knocked out against Crawford. The fight won't draw flies, Amir would have to build himself up again. Not even the dumbest casual will fork out to pay for those 2 to fight in 2019 or likely 2020. It's really yesterday news now.

 

If you'd said after he lost to Pulev that come late 2018, Dereck Chisora would be headlining on Sky Box Office and doing over 400k PPV buys you'd have been sectioned.

Some fights will still be a draw for as long as they could possibly be made.

 

Disagree man. Chisora lost a close decision to Pulev. Most people had him winning the first Whyte fight, and he was coming off a brutal KO win against Takam. Top contenders. Khan would need to beat someone semi decent to get that interest again. That will take time. There won't be another opportunity like this. Not unless the Crawford fight is a close affair. But if Brook loses....
