I REALLY feel Foster would get Hopkins defense middle rounds stop him. Foster is all-timer at LH ,Hopkins never faced a clouter like Bob ,IT Would show

Prefight,...B-Hop starts stomping on a New Mexico State Flag, and Foster says "Dubbya Tee Eph? "

Hopkins might annoy Foster for a while before getting bombed out.

Hopkins would not have handpicked Foster.. This is not Winky Wright moving up in weight.

    Hopkins by decision.

I don't think Foster will ever land his big shot on Hopkins, I fancy Nard to outbox him and maybe get a late stoppage if Foster tries forcing the issue and walks onto too many straight rights.

    That's if I'm playing devil's advocate.

Foster was a scary dude towards those light heavies back then...and if you went in the ring copping an attitude...or trying to be pseudo badass, like whatshisname Vincente Rondon did, you were gonna get embalmed. Just let Hopkins pull some kind of head game **** with Foster, like he did with Trinidad or Winky...or trying in the slightest to get physical with Bob,....God forbid trying to shove, slap, insult or whatever the Killer Preying Mantis from Mars....and Foster would subject him to the Rondon treatment, or maybe even the Mike Quarry treatment.

I forgot how good Foster was technically. Haven't watched him in a while. He was fast.

The way he snaps out that spear of a jab is pure artistry. I like the way he uses his stance too, weight on the front foot to extend his range but ready also to twitch back in response to an attack. Foster mixed up the punches nicely too, jab to the solar plexus then one to the face. He took that dude apart like a watch. You can see he's absorbing information as he jabs, and he's deciding which way would be the best to put him away.

I actually wonder if Hopkins would be much trouble after all. Hops liked strong brawlers that would come straight at him. Speedy boxer-punchers with crushing power, not so much. Foster has like a 4 inch reach advantage over Hopkins and with a long jab like his every inch counts.

Foster by decision. Hopkins best division was 160 and tho he did super things at 175 he was still on the down as well.

Notice in the Rondon fight second round, Rondon hits Foster on the break, and Foster basically says "Son, you tee-totally frapped up now"....and a minute later Rondon is lying k.o.'ed on the canvass.

Foster, by KO, and I say that as a Hopkins fan. Foster isn't going to get neutralized here.

I'd say I'm a Hopkin's fan, and I say with all honesty that I think he'd get pole axed.
