The best ranked fighter he's fought, as far as i know, was the Argentinian bloke in his last fight, currently #47 according to boxrec.

Yarde is basically a complete joke. He'll get steamrolled if he ever steps up in what is a stacked division.

Hard to tell when he's fighting all bums. He doesn't seem to have heart, or his handlers are protecting some grade A British China. You have to believe in yourself. Nobody would have thought that the last guy Beterbiev fought would drop him. Who is to say that Yarde wouldn't have KO'd Beterbiev in that situation? Something is amiss though. He's being moved far to slow, and he looks fairly built. He might not be able to comfortably make 175 much longer, which will suck for him, because what makes him dangerous at 175, won't be nearly as formidable at 200.

I'm just waiting for him to fail a drug test TBH.

Until he fights and convincingly beats several respectable fighters it is all just hype. Let's say he needs to KO Fonfara and Shabransky for a start:headbash

    We don't know until tested.

His team have touted him as a possible world champion but I'm not sure that's doing him any favours.

I don't have any problem with him being moved along slowly. MANY boxers have stepped up gradually. Why is Yarde being hated on because if that?

Let's wait and see how the next couple of years go before we label him as the next Wilder.
