I was thinking, my grandmothers mother was 70 at the time I was born. This means that George Foreman is old enough to be the great grandpa of a baby born in 2019. George Foreman was 24 when he beat Fraizer and became the champion, 25 when he lost it to Ali, 27 when he came off the deck to beat Ron Lyle, 38 when he made his comeback, 42 when he battled the then 28 year old Holyfield and 45 when he knocked out Michael Moorer and became champion once again. Happy 70th birthday to George Foreman.

I guess this means he won't be making a comeback to take on Wilder, Fury or AJ......or will he??????????

I'd be more concerned for them if he did!

I enjoy the image of foreman with a walking cane, swatting at fighters from the next generation as a 90 year old too much

The grand old man of the Heavyweight Division, like Ali, Louis and Dempsey before him!

How old were Billy Conn, Jake LaMotta, Carmen Basilio and Jack Dempsey when you heard stories about them k.o.ing street thugs trying to rob them (and who is going to frapp with Foreman)?

One of the ABC's probably moved them into a #10 ranking, after the "K.O. Story" came out in the newspapers.

Once ,the young hungry ,beast of the heavyweight division .Smashing the formidable Joe Frazier to the floor time and time again.
At that point in time ,Who would have picked ANY ONE to beat this monster ??
And here he is ,all those years later ,STILL the king of the Heavyweight s .
    The last man standing.

I don't, for some reason, think that Gene Fullmer was ever bullied or pestered too much in his later years either.
