Horn would have been target practice for the prime laser-accurate Brook

Unfortunately right now I think this is a very difficult fight

All depends on whether Brook fought to the level of his opponent vs Zerafa or whether he has genuinely lost it

I think Horn is a difficult night for prime Brook. He’s relentless, doesn’t stop. He’s a hard nights work for anyone to be fair without being really spectacular.

It’s a good fight I’d love to see it.

I agree with this. Both lads struggle to make the (147) weight but it’s much more documented with Brook. I can see Horn out working him and Brook struggling to stay in the fight in the championship rounds. Horn beats him imo.

Cool fight. Brook was much better than Horn, at this stage though, it's a tough fight.

It’s this sort of crap I feared the most when Eddie signed the deal with DAZN. Spreading himself and his stable to thin just to put a card together over in the states. It’s obviously turned out worse with the fact he
Can’t sign any top US fighters but that’s a different thread.

Ok, it’s not the end of the world as it’s still a fight we will see, but Brook - Horn (as long as they didn’t try to make it PPV) would have been a very solid, Saturday evening main event, something we have seen very little of in 2018.

Instead we get a pointless fight in the middle of the night in a half empty, no atmosphere US venue with Jessie Vargas who I personally find to be an extremely boring fighter who is also coming off a draw.

We will have an ex olympian headling against a no body instead for the UK Saturday night card, so dont worry.

Brook was always gonna fight Vargas if the Khan fight fell through.

How to know this? When Hearn lists off a name of fighters (Crawford, Hurd, Charlo, D.Garcia, Vargas) as potential opponents and there's one name in that list who stands out as being weaker than the rest, then you can be rest assured that will be the next opponent. Loves to plant a seed does our Eddie.

Vargas is just a meh fighter to me. I'd probably rather have Horn.

I'd rather see Brook vs Horn than Brook vs Vargas as well tbh. It's a more interesting clash of styles and a more entertaining fight IMO.

I would much prefer the horn fight seeing as Vargas hasn’t been relevant for years and brook is heading the same way.

Imagine the stick Khan would get for fighting Horn or Vargas. Levels!

Hearn has delivered with Khans opponent

I always thought Hearn and Brook had a much closer relationship? I hope he can deliver for Brook also, no excuses

I think it was more Crawford and Arum seeking Khan out more than Eddie Hearn wizardry.

Nevertheless Hearn has to deliver now for Brook
