No mate. Whenever other broadcasting channels schedule times they always make room for overrunning. Then at the end of any recording you always get reruns of old tennis matches or fights or 1980s US fight nights etc. So don't call me stupid . I am the consumer . I am the customer It's not difficult
Same, even recorded the programme scheduled after and it started recording from the start of the boxing!!!! No doubt sky playing funny buggers!
For those wondering why they cut off Broner’s swearing it’s technically not the watershed beyond 0600hrs- not much ITV could do. Kudos to ITV for showing the full PPV virtually unedited with the American commentary- it’s night and day between Showtime and Sky/BT I feel.
I only got the first 2 rounds on virgin, forgot to add any time to the recording and quickly realised unless there was an early KO I wouldn't see the end of the fight.
Moaning muppets Did you have to pay for it? Funny how a sky show only ever gets worshipped here but whatever a competitor seems to do just gets stick? That was 75 bucks in the US ffs
Here try taping the next show after that so you don't lose the whole card. ALso if you ave a smart tv is on itv hub now, i have just watched it
Yeah I had to find it on the itv player and sit there fast forwarding it for 15 minutes to get to the crappy main event. Typical broner spoiling and not doing enough as usual
Only justcaught up on this, is broner deluded or what?! Jumping up and down on the ropes as if he won...telling his coach he won round 11 when he landed 2 punches... Guy is a clown...can’t even beat the ghost of Pac-Man... Thought the scorecards were generous tbh...all he was was slippery...
I don't think much of that is relevant. It's pretty obvious that people will be annoyed when they record a programme overnight and it stops halfway through the main event. Best practice is always to have the big fight on second or third then more (recorded) undercard afterwards. I wouldn't be calling someone a muppet who had the final twenty minutes of a film cut off on the basis that it costs more to watch it in America.
Yes I'd have much preferred that. I guess ITV prefer being able to sell advertising right through to the end of the show though... Was also highly annoying seeing all the anthem and ringwalk nonsense taking up the time when I realised my recording would likely fall short. Far too much of that bollocks. Although respect to Manny for a vey quick no nonsense entrance to Eye of the Tiger.
