I expect Smith to have a homecoming bout in Anfield against someone like John Ryder and afterwards will be in a big fight against someone like Bivol or Canelo in Autumn.
I was basically thinking the same thing, will be interesting to see what happens. Bivol would be the hardest fight and lowest pay day, would surprise me if they went his direction tbf. Definitely chasing the money this year though.
Id love to see him against Joe Smith Jr. FOTY before it even happens. I got Smith Jr. By T/KO around rounds 8-10. It would be a nuclear hurricane inside a ri g for however long it lasted and their would be more testicular fortitude between these two than in the entirety of some countries.
Doesn't look like he'll be on the Liverpool bill in March, so I'm expecting him to be back out in the summer, with probably a bigger fight at the end of the year.
Hopefully Callum Smith gets good fights he's highly rated . He's young tall strong and good . He deserves more respect from Eddie hearn . I believe Callum Smith has potential he just needs the fights to show it . He definitely showed what was up against groves
I think it’s more to do with the fact there are no big fights in the division he’s in and nobody crying out for him to fight a certain name unlike other top fighters. I think it’s been widely conceived since Groves that he cleans out 168 without much trouble which isn’t really a good position to be in, you need a challenge and the doubters.
