Seems kinda stupid to retire as he's probably the world's best paid gatekeeper.
I think it will take a couple more fights at least before everybody stopped caring and the moneypit will dry up.

Yes. He's a mediocre, boring boxer.

And his classless behaviour outside the ring isn't good for the sport of boxing.

He can probably still make money so I doubt he retires any time soon. He'll probably pad his record again with a few more easy wins then get another big fight, he was exposed by Maidana 5 years ago and they keep recycling him and giving him significant fights.

If he doesn't get locked up for one of his numerous run ins with the law I suspect he'll be around for years yet, he needs the money and likes the attention.

i would say yes, as he clearly can't be arsed to actually fight, but seeing as you know full well he'll still get big paydays, probably not

Secured his life and his family's life for all? Yeah, good luck with that prediction.

International diplomacy and conflict resolution will just have to wait that bit longer as Broner still has to complete his performance art piece entitled 'professional boxer'.

I really hope this is a sarcastic post. If not it goes beyond a joke and borders on a reportable offence.

    Retire? No...............

He should definitely be relegated to undercard
status. He has squandered (numerous times)
    all of his political capital.

It seems his success came from being able to bully smaller fighters at the lower divisions.

so unless he gets disciplined and gets back to sub-140 he's destined to be a gatekeeper.

yes he should. hes a puff and he worries too much about what might come and is too scared to throw punches. All this happened from when he fought Maidana so you cant blame the poor lad

No need. He can still get fights and he isn't a total bum in all honesty.

Plus, he'll get KO'd eventually and I would like to see it

He"s young as ffffuuck.hes an entertaining personality.... the arsehole u all love to hate and will pay for....he has world class ability and can in glimpses compete with any1 ..but loses every time he steps up to true elite....but also has a huge following... as a wanabee mayweather.....in many respects hes the american amir khan.....a pretender who knows he can"t beat the absolute best but will get paydays and always recycle himself with a win over fellow b or c list guys......like khan he can claim these $4-5 mill paydays.... win or lose..... as he competes in a hot division(s).147-140.he never gets hurt...or really hit much....so hell no why would he retire?......out of Shame?....the man has no shame...... and he can easily make another $15 mill in his career the next 5 years just doing what he"s been doing the last 5 years...like khan u still have an expectation one day he may get it all together..

Its hard to know whose the bigger arsewhole though khan or broner.....thats 2 huge arsewholes right there.....maybe the biggest seen in boxing history
