No, I really feel Broner would have had an amazing career should he have stayed at 135 and the moved to 140 only after unifying or becoming undisputed. He would have been a hell of a fighter there and at 140. I deplore his jump from 135 to 147 as the dumbest thing that he could have ever done. He is 28 years old now, I still suggest he goes back down to 140 and maybe he can regain some significance there.
Oh sorry was this a serious question? Errrrr No, definitely not, Broner shouldn't be anywhere near a big fight again, unless he fights his way there, the trash talking and pathetic bad boy persona has worn thin now, it's boring and it shouldn't warrant any more titles shots or big fights.
Broner doesn't "deserve" anything. What has Broner done for the sport of boxing lately? What was his positive input?
