There was no proof that Mosley was roided up for that night..if its just the eye test you talking about you can say that for just about any fighter in history..truth they all cheats..proven or not. But singling him out and calling him a cheat is sour juice if you ask me..all that said..he put a fearsome ass-whooping on Tony that night..some fight are all about styles..and IMHO this was one of them..Mosley was having his last hooray..and Margcheato was on his way out..and his corner was dumb as hell for latting that fight carry on as long as it did. Wow, its insane that much time has passed. I was in college at the time. I assumed Tony would run through Mosely and therefore skipped the fights to go to a party. I made it back to my apartment at about 3am and logged onto ESB and got swallowed up by the entire shitstorm. It was absolutely surreal. Even though I was only reading about what had happened and watching a few clips, it gave me this weird disembodied feeling. I can't explain it. I felt something similar when Ricardo Mayorga stretched out Vernon Forrest (RIP) and again when I learned that Leavander Johnson was on life support. Between the wraps controversy and the upset, which was genuinely shocking at the time, I think the frenzy was sort of like the boxing equivolent of the OJ Simpson hysteria.
