What would be a typical diet on Fight day, and how often do you eat/drink on that day, based on the below times? Also, No maintaining of weight has to be considered as weigh in has already been completed. Thanks Wake up at 7am Fight at around 9 pm
In amateurs, I had weigh in on the same day when I fight. Weigh in is usually about 9am, fight about 14h or later, sometimes even in 20h and so on.. I always ate some chicken, potatoes, salad, and classic stuff... Sometimes I just had 4 fried eggs and bread. Don't eat pizza and that stuff because it makes you thirsty.
Have some oars for breakfast, you want some slow release carbs to maintain a steady sugar balance throughout the day.
If you don't have someday weigh ins then eat w.e you want and know that doesn't mess with your stomach. Only advice I would have is avoid foods with excess sodium TO WHAT YOU ARE USE TO (if you usually have a salty diet then no worries but if you avoid salt usually and you consume more then usual you will be bloated). Also avoid caffeine near fight time. You don't want an increased heart rate because that will waste energy for no reason. (if your tired through the day then have at it but don't make the mistake of caffiening up pre-fight)
weigh in in morning breakfast- 2 eggs, toast, hashbrowns, apple juice lunch- plain turkey sandwich, carrot sticks, sun chips, gatorade supper around 5- plain potatoes, chicken breast, green beans, water 9 pm-fight
