AJ has quite clearly taken PEDS at some point in his career
Weight when he turned pro ?
    Weight now ?

I didn't come up with the comparison.

The comparison was designed to presumably show that what Joshua had done was self-evidently impossible.

I'm asking if it's self-evidently impossible or if an odd number of odd people like you have some sort of bias towards saying it's that way.

It's hard to prove a negative (e.g. Can you prove that God is not a flying teapot in the sky?)

Have you a shred of evidence to back this up, or have you just made it up?

I never said you came up with the comparison.

I’m telling you that for people who have the requisite domain knowledge in this field, it is evidently impossible.

You mean people like you who hang around gyms all the time?

What about people with a basic knowledge of biological science?

He put on 20lbs within 18 months of turning pro. And like I said, that is when already very muscular, doing the insane amount of cardio needed for boxing and it all being muscle. 100% he did that by using gear.

UKAD and VADA testing is random. I don't know what they do to make it random to be honest. For all I know, Joshua could have gone his entire life without ever taking a drugs test. I haven't seen any evidence to suggest that he has ever been drug tested.

If it's such a big deal to you, maybe try writing to UKAD and VADA with the question.

Threads like this are making this forum an embarrassment. Other forums proper buzz off this site.

It’s ridiculous. You’re embarrassing us all. You criticise AJ for Juicing when it’s been proven he does vada testing and does UKAD 365 but defend the likes of Fury and Saunders for failing theirs and make excuses for them that they’re innocent. Let’s have some consistency please.

Let’s have a bit of neutrality too. Buatsi and Johnson getting called out for fighting fighters who are better than Yarde’s opponents to date but the concessions from the same people again come in for Yarde.

Theres people who try too hard to hate Eddie Hearn and will criticise anything they can or if they can’t theyll make stuff up. It’s tedious and every thread gets drawn in to a pathetic slanging match.

There’s plenty of posters who favour Warren and dislike Hearn but will still call it how it is @Dragon Punch. I’ve got no problem at all with that. I try and be neutral myself although because everyone is so anti Hearn I’ve been accused of working for matchroom before! Even though I’ve criticised Hearn and Matchroom multiple times, if I say anything positive about them then I must be a matchroom fc stooge or I’m Frank in disguise.

Let’s focus on the boxing. We had some good performances last night, we’ve got a Warren card in a few weeks and a decent/good (yes I really said it) Eubank v Degale card. We’re also going to have major announcements with the 4 top heavyweights in the world any time now. So let’s focus on the boxing, analysis, predictions and facts.

I don’t want to be another poster to leave. But I feel as though this place is insane lately.

Probably due to the lack of boxing on offer during January @Scissors

Why is it January such a dry month for shows in the UK? The yanks are able to put a couple on.

You really have to love the passionate defence of AJ here. It is absolutely clear that he is not being tested by UKAD when in Dubai, Jamaica, Nigeria, Oregon etc. and as he doesn’t have a fight scheduled he certainly isn’t being tested by USADA or VADA as he won’t sign up to the Clean Boxing Programme.

Yes, he will likely have to give whereabouts information to UKAD safe in the knowledge that they have never and will never test him when he’s many thousands of miles away. If he’s doing this administrative work anyway then why not duplicate it and send it to the CBP? There is no good reason for AJ not to be signed up unless he wants to ensure that he doesn’t get tested at inconvenient times.

What a lot of people also don't realise is that the fail thresholds set by anti-doping organisations like USADA, UKAD and VADA are unnaturally high anyway. So you can have something like 6 times the normal amount of testosterone in your system (which bar some extremely rare medical exceptions no one has naturally) and still be classed as 'clean'. So even with testing you can still juice, you just have to keep it within the limits set by the testers. Not that these tests are especially hard to cheat anyway.

Like I said, anyone who thinks that Joshua achieved his physique naturally and that being tested means he must be clean, simply doesn't have a clue.

Very true. To put the margin before failure into context you could be driving at 120 mph past a speed camera outside a school in a 20mph zone and still not get a ticket.

Joshua’s defenders should be pushing him to be an ambassador for anti-doping and voluntarily sign up to VADA 24/7 random testing anywhere in the World at any time similar to any WBC ranked fighters like Wilder and Whyte which would cover UKADs lack of testing any athlete training or holidaying outside the UK.

I bet a fiver this never happens...

When Dillian Whyte and every other fighter does the same you may have an argument. Until then try throwing accusations at anyone but AJ
