    Sad situation, I wish him the best. In Earnie Shavers book, he said about all of his opponents, that about half were either dead, destitute, or in jail.

    Having watched Larry Holmes entire heavyweight title run while it happened, it's weird to think that Ken Norton, Scott Ledoux, Leroy Jones, Muhammad Ali, Trevor Berbick, David Bey and Carl "The Truth" Williams are all dead.

    Not to mention a number of guys who were also champs while Holmes was on top, like John Tate, Michael Dokes and Greg Page.
