How about Wilder or Fury stepping up and agreeing to fight AJ instead of hiding behind all these money excuses. These boxers should want to be World Champions before anything else and if money is the big issue then they should realise they would be in control of the splits once they have beaten AJ.
Seeing as those two are willing to fight each other for less money ( in the hope of being able to get 50/50 v joshua next) and Whyte is waiting to become mandatory what do you think he should do? Pulev, Miller the best of the rest he hasn't already faced! And pulev he was willing to fight a few years ago until the late injury meant takam stood in
Wilder and Fury have "stepped up" and fought each other. The inconclusive ending to their first fight means an immediate rematch is necessary. What's your point?
Was certainly people on this forum talking up both Parker and Povetkin chances who have become wise after the event and describe both as puddings these days
Wasn't it AJ who demanded $50m, tweeted "Let's Roll" and then said he didn't want to box in USA? According to Gareth A Davies, Wilder-Fury2 will do a million PPV's in USA. Until AJ fights one of those guys the public aren't really interested.
I don't really want to get in the whole debate about the $50m as its gone on and on but he didn't turn it down as he didn't see any contract. The public are not interested in AJ however he sells out 80k stadiums in the UK and now go over to America where he will sell out Madison Square Garden and earn $25m in the process. I would say until Fury Wilder fights AJ then they truly can't call themselves the true champions.
The generally accepted wisdom is that the American Joe Public's view of AJ is that he's a ducker and selective fighter of dwarves, has-been's and also-rans. Albeit one with a god-given talent for locating pens when an opponent exhibits properties conducive to being a low-risk stepping-stone. You're welcome.
Then the American Joe Public do not know AJ very well at the moment as he hasn't ducked anyone. With this upcoming fight with Miller, the American public will get to know him and will become more and more popular. Like I have said previously Wilder Fury need to make gaining the world title the main priority rather than making excuses about money.
Joshua's promoter did an IFl interview saying the offer was genuine and that AJ would make his mind up within 2 weeks. He chose not to fight. You've been told this many times but it suits your argument to airbrush it out. Joshua-Povetkin didn't sell out. They were giving tickets away daily on Talksport. The stadium is booked for 13 April but nobody is interested. Why are the AJ fanboys obsessed with Joshua's personal wealth? The lineal champion donated his entire purse to charity.
