It must be extremely rare for all three official judges to score a 10-round fight identically round-by-round. Hard to believe that everyone would agree in the Javier Fortuna vs Sharif Bogere fight, which was not only very competitive, but also very scrappy. Since Farhood says he scored the fight the same as the judges round-by-round, 96-93, I think that means they all gave Bogere Rounds 1, 4, 5, and 9. I scored the fight for Fortuna 97-92, giving Bogere Rounds 1, 5, and 9. The first half of the fight was the more difficult to score, but then Fortuna started pulling away in the second half of the fight, starting with the 6th round, which he won 10-8 via a knockdown that I thought was legitimate based on the initial left uppercut, even though Paulie Malignaggi claimed he had issues with the followup overhand right cuffing the top of Bogere's head. I think the accidental clash of heads also occurred in that 6th round, and that seemed to affect Bogere, who from then on fought a less disciplined fight, including going away from his jab which had been effective in the earlier rounds. Good solid win for Fortuna.

davis looks tiny next to floyd, whats he doing calling out manny? i dont even think he can be top guy at 135 even if loma werent there.

Did you just see the footage of them in the dressing room? Floyd looked 4 inches taller and about 30lbs heavier.

 

Davis vs Gamboa would’ve been a great, explosive fight. I wouldn’t have been surprised to see Gamboa win that.

 

Terrible stoppage

 

Floyd isnt trained. Yes hes taller. And Naseem Hamed goes about 250 right now. That doesnt make him bigger than Deontay Wilder.
