Still clutching at straws, looking for that elusive win eh?
Punch power isn't as important as you seem to think it is. It's border-lining on the obsessive. I am also honestly bemused that you think it takes balls to make a forum post.

Why does it matter who hits harder? All of the top heavyweights probably have enough power to hurt the others.

The funny thing about this is Parker always adds a caveat to his comments that Joshua never got him cleanly with a power shot, so based on his experience Whyte is more likely to hit you hard. It's pretty reasonable.

That's pretty silly post, power is everything...it wins Dillian fights... and Wilder...

Unfortunately not Parker... if Parker had more power he would be unstoppable... Fury too...

Imagine Fury couldn't hurt a 95 kilo underweight human being... a skeleton basically.

I am around that weight, trim, lean... and 8 inches shorter.... and an ectomorph..

And Fury couldn't back up Wilder.

    So power is underrated actually.

Well you clearly don't have balls to start your own thread... you'd rather derail mine by going of on an old grandpa tangent about shavers...

This is why I know your boxing knowledge isn't where it needs to be. Whyte's skills wins him the fights and his dedication to training. I don't care what your body type is, it's not relevant to anything.

Fury did back up Wilder, go and watch the fight.

So you make 2 threads in a row about power and how important it is to you and then proceed to call it underrated? Are you delusional?

By "derail" do you mean completely disprove every wild and provocative statement you've made in order to expose your lack-of boxing knowledge?

    Whyte's boxing skills? LMAO

Man are you trolling me or being serious? Your knowledge is frighteningly low, or you been living under a rock.

Whyte isn't revered for his technical boxing prowess you numnuts, Fury however is.

Whyte is lucky to scrape by on points descsisons, he relies on his ability to 'fight' or 'boxfight' and now... his left hook.

I already watched the fight, and Fury did not threaten Wilder as much as Wilder had Fury in serious trouble.

Ergo power... is everything... and inferior boxing skill Wilder proved that.

    Enjoy cupcake

There you go.... He wanted to trade with the so-called hard-hitting Whyte but chose to be cautious against Joshua, who doesn't hit as hard as Whyte, apparently? So he chose to take the best Whyte could offer and avoid the same treatment from AJ.

You can see which direction the evidence is pointing in, right?

Let's take what Parker said on face value: He was hit harder by Whyte than he was by Joshua. But that tells us more about Parker's differing game plan for each fight than it tells us about who was the most powerful opponent...

That's fine, if that what you think.

On the flipside, hard AJ caught him with some stinging or "stunning" shots as Parker put it, he would have said so.. no?

I've I sparred two people, or even fought two people for 12 full rounds and I gave a post fight analysis where I only spoke about the stunning shots from one puncher... that would be very telling.

I'll have to rewatch the AJ Parker fight again... but AJ must have landed a good few dozen times... no stunning comment on those punches.

And no... we are not just referring to the left hook punch... Parker said... a lot of the punches...

Also we have to put the Parker vs Aj fight into context: he'd just managed to beat Klitschko in his previous fight, having been heavily dropped and nearly stopped and thought Wilder was next up after dealing with Parker. Two legit reasons why he might have chosen not to engage or load up; wary because of a recent past experience, safety-first to ensure no slip ups prior to a career-defining unification battle...

Either you're a troll or a bit dim. Parker fought negative and admitted as such and said his next fight he'd need to show more aggression, yet you choose to ignore this.

Of course both guys were landing and throwing, as Hatton would say, it's a fight not a tickling contest, but both guys were focused on defence primarily. Bit different to standing and trading, which is what Whyte and Parker BOTH promised. I'm sure you know this and are just being obtuse, as I've seen your posts and you don't strike me as stupid. Biased, yes, trolling, sometimes, stupid, no.

Cool so here is the fight I just watched

And the amount of times AJ clipped and landed on Parker is numerous. But apparently he didn't land flash... MhMMM

AJ definitely landed clean shots... Parker soaked it up... yet parker had no comment on AJ's power, surely it was more than a tickle.

Anyways the Jury is out on who hits harder... at least Whytes power has got some respect and exposure from.all of you.

I wasn't trolling, merely playing devils advocate. I stated in my OP I did not know who hit harder from the inception of this thread.

Thank you all for the discussion.

Parker needs to go away. he sucks. horrible style, sloppy, no echnique, boring outside the ring. I think everyone in the top 10 stops him right now. Dominic Brazeale and Gerald Washington would stop him.
